Yeah I know more than a week. Time ain't what it used to be So here's what I got I think Carl would have liked the Tammy 88 Here's a day's progress on the 88. I'm doing this as a Flak 37. Altho filled with so-so fit and rather vigorus mold lines it's still a decent kit, especially for being released in 1972. There was no way I was going to do the Dragon offering; I still get chills thinking about that. The Trumpy halftrack has seven hundred some odd parts many of which are two piece indy workable track links. On the trees it appears pretty good but we'll find out when the glue hits it Regards, Mark

Nice start Mark! The old 88 still builds up very nice for it's age. Very interested in how the half track builds up.

Thanks brother other than all the scraping mold lines needed this went together easily even with the two piece barrel. OOB with no mods it is, not bad at all for a forty two year old molding.
A couple of hours of research indicate that the Sd.Kfz.8 DB10 was a rare beast, likely to the point of even the Krauts thinking "Who built that?" if they happened to see one. They are also very poorly documented with no clear idea of how many were made, their distribution, which service used them, how they were painted and all that. This means I have considerable artistic license hee hee watch out
Regards, Mark

I built one of the 88's years ago, I like how it can be displayed set up or in travel mode... mine is in the German field grey color along with a 8 ton truck to pull it...

Thanks gents Got a little detail painting done as well as a stipple camo pattern on the 88. I also got the cable reels done; used fine solder as the vinyl tube provided is a giant pain to work with I did assemble the Zundapp 750 included in the kit but it's pretty poorly detailed; don't know if I'll use it or not Regards, Mark
