Looks pretty steady considering what you just went through... just a warning though, stay away from prostate biopsy's they make a colonoscopy look like a small mosquito bite... don't ask me how I know, just take my word on it!!!
Yeah, what he said. I've been through two of them!
Nice work Robert, and I feel your pain. This does look excellent. Any progress is great progress I always say.

Thanks again everyone...The mojo continues to be holding strong - or at least a whole lot stronger than it did for a long time! After finishing up the camo on the turret and hull (and then touching it up quite a bit) I painted the numbers on the turret and the crosses on the hull. The day before yesterday, I spent a good two hours painting all the tires and then let those cure for 24 hours before sealing the entire model (except the tracks) in an acrylic lacquer. Here's a shot of everything that's painted and sealed: Now she's ready for the first round of weathering which will involve two rounds of washes - a general one on the zimmerit areas and a pin wash on most everything else. In between doing those, I'll likely also start working on the tracks. Until next time...

I see no evidence of a bungled paint job, you must be having an anesthesia hangover.
Fine work as usual I'm seeing here

Excellent work Robert! She looks a treat!
I'm about a third of the way through the Takom Panther kit with the full interior and am feeling a bit overwhelmed...but it really is a sweet kit. Which paints did you use?

Thanks, guys...the comments are appreciated - especially after so long! Excellent work Robert! She looks a treat! I'm about a third of the way through the Takom Panther kit with the full interior and am feeling a bit overwhelmed...but it really is a sweet kit. Which paints did you use?
The base paints - as with all my projects = are Testors Model Masters Enamels. The dark yellow is a custom mix with Sandgelb as the foundation. To that I think I added some regular yellow, a touch of green, and then some off-white to lighten it for scale effect. There may have been another tint color or two...I just "eyeball" the color until it strikes my fancy. The camo colors are straight out of the bottles - Rotbraun and Olive Grun.
I look forward to seeing the Takom Panther. I thought about getting it back when it came out and it certainly would have been easier to build than this Frankenstein model.
Thanks again...

Robert that is another sensationally masterful build again! You certainly nailed the effect! Brilliant job my friend, and I know how you feel about being sick of seeing the same model on your workbench. I have about five models like that now.

Thanks, Mark. Trust me, the next build will be an OOTB "quickie"!
