Thank you guys. The turret was washed and pinwashed with oil paints ultramarine, burnt umber and burnt sienna, ratio 20/70/10. A tad more sienna was added to the pinwash.
I then gave the turret a coat of gloss clear to protect the result so far. Today a coat of hairspray was applied locally where I airbrushed on a tag of my nickname with the help of a mask which was cut out of masking tape.
I hope you like it as there's much more graffiti to be added.
My aim is to paint a colorful tank for a change, out of the comfort zone.
