Hello guys, it's a long time ago since I built and finished a forgotten piece of rust, so I cracked open a cheap but still popular kit being Italeri's M47 Patton tank. I'll try to learn and experiment a lot on it so disaster will lurk just around the corner. I want rust, chipped paint, graffiti etc. I made a start with the removal of the mudguards. Best regards.

Awesome! Count me in to watch also. It already is looking like the one we used for target practice at Danang Firing Range in 1968.

I'm in, got my popcorn and whiskey. Thank you sir, and popcorn and whiskey make a nice combo! Today the running gear on the left side was reworked a bit.

Thank you John.
I've ordered myself a set of Frillies as the spaghetti tracks won't sag realistic. Only the right side will get tracked.

I like. Maybe a little known factoid: even US "live" track sagged (slightly) when it was very worn.......

Thank you guys, I'm happy with all the advice, tips you can give me. Btw. I seem to have forgotten to add three images which have inspired me to start this project. Here they are : ONLY FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES! ONLY FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES! ONLY FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES! I won't go for such a destroyed gun barrel. The graffiti however is one of my targets. One track will be added (right), the left one will be missing to clearly show the return rollers and the damaged wheels. ONLY FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES!
Friul should make these skeleton tracks without the rubber blocks, I'd buy them instantly.

I agree it would be cool without the rubber blocks installed...
