Outstanding work, AG! The basket looks fantastic.
Also, when you get a chance, I'd appreciate a PM (or just a post on here) explaining your process for achieving the bare steel look on the main gun.

For a minute I thought my glasses were dirty then I realized your pic is out of focus, ha, ha!!! It's a blurdy trick to cover my messed up gluings Joe. That's what weathering is for in my book!!!

Joe, that too my friend. Rustybaer, thank you ! I've been doing some more detail paintwork to the gun breach. I made a mistake by painting the gun breach side panel in green. Now it's white as it should be. The gunner's seat is now in production, it's an oddball thing to be honest. Can't find the perfect reference photos but I'll try to create kind of an impression of an abandoned and vandalized turret basket.

Thank you Bruce! This guy has an unbelievable knowledge on tanks, and I checked this video which was a great help to understand the M47 turret mechanisms.

Not much of the seat, but I tried. Pretty interesting for us Tank nuts though.

Steve my friend I'm abso ferkin lutely not going to scratch a fully operational interior! I think once these tanks were abandoned and forgotten, they were often stripped by souvenir hunters. Luckily my project is to build a derelict one.

Thanks Bruce! The turret interior or what's left of it was painted and weathered yesterday. A little extra rusty touch will make it look better before the upper turret half is glued on.
