Why thank you sir, although I must admit I haven’t looked in a mirror lately 😆
The Puma will look better once it cops its camo etc; Dreadnaught will be back in its “drawer of stasis” shortly (for various reason related to warped/twisted parts, 🤬 its an occasional project only)
Must do the Mallow’s decals too, and give the 109’s a blast of paint... 🤯😖
Regards OB 😉

All but the biggest fire are out and the biggest is a watch and act type job (firefighters are on scene, ready to move into action when/as necessary)
Smoke Haze is still about, complicated by airborne red dust from the dust storm yesterday though - not nice at all ! 😖
Just about worked out what I’m going to build in Cliff and Chad’s memory, it’ll be two trackys in 35th, although not necessarily one after the other. There’s a whole year to go yet after all ! 😎

Ho Hum... 🥱
Not too far to go now ! 😴
Might have a weekend of finishing off projects instead of new builds - There’s this beasty, plus the Mallow and 4 Me-109’s to play with after all 🤯😖😎😆

Mallow’s gone glossy, might get her decals dun tonight if she ain’t very careful (not sure how long the Gunze Acryl Clear gloss will take to dry you see, I normally leave it 24 hours, its pretty bombproof by then ! 🙄

I regretfully have to inform you that I’ve slipped back into my old ways 🤯 ... slipways actually 😖
Top to bottom - all 1/700th Aoshima HMS Exeter, Aoshima S Class Destroyer (inc in their HMS Cornwall kit), IBG HMS Badsworth, Aoshima Flower Class Corvette (one of two included in their HMS Exeter kit)

Awesome to see the shipyards back in operation. I like those selections; I never knew these had been released. Maybe this will help motivate me to get my shipyards going too.

Slight change of plan ... 🤯. Nothing major, just decided to not start anything new, got a few too many started ship kits, so the Flower Class Corvette has gone back into its box, as has the S class Destroyer (actually a WW1 S class, (HMS Tenedos), which was reclassified as a Destroyer Escort (DE) in WW2)... 🤓
They’ve been replaced on the line with Flyhawk’s Arethusa Class Cruiser HMS Aurora and Revell’s K Class Destroyer HMS Kipling (ex Matchbox kit)
I intend finishing them As Box, rigged with stretched sprue, using brass Crane jibs, radar units, catapults and other sundries as take my fancy as and where applicable. Not sure yet about railing the decks its been a while since I did any ship rails and I’m way out of practice. In addition, railings seem to have been an in port sort of thing, they tended to come down and crew safety lines were rigged as the ships left port, especially if the ships concerned were expecting to run into trouble.
Regards to All OB 😉

Mornin’ all ! 🥱
Hunt Class and Exeter have been mounted onto their bases (PVA glued onto 3x1 inch DAR pine offcuts), next step is to paint the bases suitably and finish the ships off before building up their wakes etc on the bases.
Not much more to do on the Hunt Class, lots more parts and brass to go onto Exeter 🤓. Revell (Matchbox) Kipling and the hull of the Flyhawk Aurora to the left are the next two victims to be worked on

Blimey I hope not ! 😲
The yard outside has been underwater all day, its been belting down rain for the last few days and if I see that old man with the long white beard and the big boat full of animals again, asking the way to Mount Ararat.... 🤯
Water getting inside is all I need ! Only got 3 rooms - Main room, back room (aka hobby room) and bathroom.
Regards OB 😉
