Well, moving right along, the Dornier has been dumped somewhat unceremoniously in almost finished state (no decals and only half the darker camo colour has been applied), into a dark corner of the display case til my interest in it revives and I've kept going on the littlies for the moment, its a tad hard to concentrate on anything much - even when the lovely Kim(aka "the supervisor"), is at work (like she is all day today) 😃🤫

I've managed to get the camo dun on both the Tamiya 190 D-9 and the old Airfix Hurricane (paint still wet on that one !) as below



I am now perusing part of the visible portion of my extensive stash for more simple WW2 wingy style kits - think I have a nice selection there and there's a few more coming in in a day or two via a friend of mine (couple of Hase Spitfires and a pair of Hase P-51's -a D and a K), dunno if I'll git to any of the Twins, but there's plenty more single engine jobs in the boxed up stash anyway... 🤔

Given the nature of this board , and the fact that she's neither plastic ,nor is she a model, and is unavailable at present for photographic purposes and (like moi) is totally camera shy, to the point of taping over the camera lens on the back of her phone (to avoid accidental "selfies"), and is very good at disappearing the moment a camera of any description is pointed at her, the subject is best dropped without further discussion.

In any case,the problem is not of her doing... My head ain't working right, I seem to have had a huge memory loss, not just things that happened ages ago, but how to do the little things the I've done all my life: eg;- How to do "my" particular versions/modifications of various modelling techniques that always get results that satisfy me, I'm assured by specialists that they'll come back, given time, but at present, my results in terms of finished kits are ok I guess, but they do not entirely satisfy me - I Know I can get better results than I'm currently getting, but I'm danged if I know or remember how... 🤬 Talk about bloody frustrating to the extreme ! ☹️🤬🤔😖

I'm praying for you too. I'm sure your supervisor is most probably a model but your insistence in leaving her photo free and away from these boards is totally understandable and accepted. I do like what I see in the painting department so far. Still, keep at it and as the doc says, it'll come back to you. I got faith in you.

Got 4 more 72nd flyers done (pix of them on the morrow), plus 4 more getting ever closer to the line - seem to be rebuilding my once vast 72nd WW2 Luftwaffe, (not that that's in any way a worry) oh well, it keeps me inside, safely out of the heat of the day  🥵

Last Sitrep for 2020

Desk largely cleared, except for Meng 35th King Tiger coming along...



Not too far to go before I cut loose with the airbrushes on that one, at a similar point on the Aircraft line, there's a Taurangus Saab J-29 Tunnan on the go, the kit's mouldings are by Special Hobby for Taurangus, its proving to be a doddle thus far...🤫🤔



that's it for 2020 folks, next year should see Obscureco breaking cover with a few finished 35ths and a few finished 72nds around the second of January with any luck 😈...

For all the plans I had.. No 72nds (AFV or Aircraft), have been touched since my last posting,😖
No 700th Ships have been touched either...😖😈

So What has actually been dun ? 🧐🤔

Quite a bit actually - Wait for my 2021 Obscureco thread (starting shortly), 4 35th AFV's to start the ball rolling this year... Meng King Tiger, Italeri PzJg1, Dragon Panther G Nightfighter and Tamiya Panther D are all just about Dun, needing weathering and slight finishing touches to complete to the photo stage
