72nd Aircraft as at Friday 7th August 2020
Pair of Academy 72nd P-47D's need a bit of sanding and then paint and decals to finish
Fujimi 72nd Ju-87B Stuka needs rhe rest of its camo, a few more parts and decals to finish
Hasegawa B-17 of a different colour needs a few parts and a small modification to cross the line
Academy Tempest V needs the rest of its decals and a few parts to cross the line
72nd Tanks (Weekend Builds), started Saturday 8 August 2020
Trumpeter T-10 only needs paint and markings to finish
IBG Crusader needs upper hull details and turret to cross the line
Takom Objekt 279 needs a lot more doing (the link n length tracks for the other side just for starters !) lil monster of a thing it is too !
That's it for the moment, might well be a bit of a delay before the next update, I awoke on Sunday with a nasty case of flu and after seeing the Doc this morning, I've been ordered back to bed for a week (blergh !) 🤢🤒

I'm allergic to chicken soup... always have been unfortunately...
Will make some mashed spuds, using french onion soup instead of milk or plain ol' water whilst mashing and a twist or 3 of milled black pepper over it... Will use it to make sandwiches on wholemeal bread - yummy ! 🤔
Works for me - my grandfather used to eat an onion as if it was an apple when he had the flu - up to 3 onions a day - kicked the flu out of him in short order he reckoned - your nose always told you when he had the flu and it sure didn't smell like onions ! 😈😖Pheweeee ! 🤭

I wish somebody would cut this flu out of me. Two Covid tests later and it ain't the virus....🤧 Berluddy 'ell I hate the flu, got a lil bit of decalling dun on the Tempest and the Stuka. Also managed to get some silver paint on the P-47D's today, before snot and sinus incineration stopped play - dammit ! 🤬☠️☠️😡
Onwards at a very slow progress folks ! 😖

I'm Ba-a-a-a-ack you may (or may not - strike out that which does not apply) be pleased to know 😈
Bloody flu made a right mess of me and the darn covid tests made a snotty mess of my nose (the doc had to be sure it wasn't the virus, so 6 covid tests,2 days apart) before he finally prescribed antibiotics and I could finally start the getting better process.. Life wasn't meant to be easy, but those darn covid tests ... jeez. 🤬
Anyhoo, I finally started slinging decals at stalled projects today (be a few days yet before my raw throat will allow glue or sprayed paint fumes anywhere near it) .. so here's wot I got dun in small steps today..
Pair of Academy 72nd P47-D's got the first of their decals applied
Fujimi 72nd Ju-87 B-1 "Stuka" copped its decals and its canopy has been stuck on with PVA glue and the painting of the canopy framing has started. That's the P47's props in the foreground too !
That's it for today, more tomorrow, sorry about the shakyhands focus and lack of light in the photos
