That one you got from the Worx ? Saw the photos when ya put ‘em up there What’s stopping ya then ?? That’ll be a doddle - its Tamiya. I got 3 Flower Class Corvettes (Mirage) and 2 Destroyers in 350th - Destroyers are Showcase HMAS Vendettas -(dunno how I ended up with 2 of em, but they’re a very nice kit !) One day.... 🤓
Staying with 700th for some time yet ! 🧐

All of those look excellent and congrats on the score. I remember building a lot of those myself. Looking forward to seeing more.

What's stopping me is space, I have to rebuild my studio so it will fit!!! LOL!!! With all the cars I have been building here and the occasional armor I am out of display space!!! I need to tear everything out and start with new flooring then a new workbench followed by overhead display space!!!

There’s always the “throw everything built out the window and keep the ones that survive the landing intact” method of creating space 😁
Just thought I’d mention it.. 😉

I never used that method, but as a kid, I did use the air rifle method of sorting the keepers from the rest 😲

As did penny rockets under the wings... and when the rockets went bang at the end of the flight, the bits rained down across several neighbours’ yards
Doubt the neighbours were amused, but we never heard about it !
@duke - I know its a bit hard to find one you haven’t got, but I think I can manage it - I have quite a few resin ship kits in 700th to do - mainly post war Frigates and Destroyers, and knowing your aversion/allergy to resin.... mwahahaaaaaar ! ☠️

Well... returning to as close to normal business as possible, I’ve added these to the slipways, making 7 slipways open 😳...
All MT Miniatures 1/700th resin floaters.. Very nicely cast too...
Top to bottom in both photos they are HMS Whitby, RN type 12 Frigate HMS Plymouth, RN type 12 (Modified) Frigate HMS Leander, (Gun Version), RN type 12A (Leander class) Frigate HMS Ajax, RN type 12A (Leander class) Batch 4 Frigate (Ikara ASW Missile Version)
Most of the work seems done by the manufacturer, the rest of the bits to go on are etched brass or cleanly cast whitemetal, it’ll be fun, but no real challenge to anybody who has dealt with such things before, I’d rate these as the ideal starter kits for anybody wanting to try resin in 700th

I dunno about that, I have more successes than failures with brass these days, but its still gnarly at times. 🤫
