Well, I was all set to really get cracking on all these, but I got a four or five day assignment to El Paso, starts Monday, yikes. At least my paint will be well-cured.

So, back from the great West, busy, busy, busy. And not so much modeling, argh. But I have managed a little, detail painting begun on Gimel:  IMG_7715 by Russel Baer, on Flickr  IMG_7716 by Russel Baer, on Flickr And on Aleph, I did a color wash, the goal being to lighten the base coat to something more appropriate for the '70s. I used Vallejo light mud, a few drops in alcohol, then scrubbed with a wet Q-tip. Thanks all. Vacation starts tomorrow, but I'm hoping to get a visit to the Jordi Rubio retail shop worked into the schedule, should be fun.

Not forgotten! Aleph is close, just some small bits, then it's on to Gimel. Yup, the basket rail is bent, but I've already broken it there twice, so this particular tank has a bent rail. Somebody must have hung something heavy off of it.....
