Same here... Lets see how long this one lasts (knowing my propensity for changing or ignoring plans) and its now page 6
Spitfire made it to the paintshop last night, where it joined the Hetzer (I'd almost forgotten about that poor lil thing), I'll see about getting some more paint (in the shape of a camo scheme) on that one too ! Casting about in the 35th stash for my next project, dunno yet...
I'll letcha know what I've come up with after I've been up the shops - hey I gotta eat too !

Don't got one of dem, so cain't be buildin one of dem...
Just kwietly, ah downe want one of dem eidder.. its got dem circylar things on each corner, not tracks under each side, and it don't gots a gun mounted on it - wot good am it ? It also seems to be in Afrika Korps guise, I don't do Afrika Korps at all. Only desert stuff (Where "the darn sand gets into everything" - now where have I heard that complaint/tag line before ? 😳) I duz is Tanks of the Brits, usually 8th Army, Mr Montgomery's mob.
Just the way it and I is

Lol, I like things with wheels, ha, ha! I will eventually build it. I love the African desert warfare. Pommel, Montgomery and Patton had quite the time out there.

Lol, I like things with wheels.. We all have our peculiar habits..😈. I prefer tracks over wheels is all...🙄
Spitfire's assembled to the paint stage and is in the paintshop awaiting paint as mentioned before 😏
She'll emerge eventually as a toothy Antipodean example in due course... She is the last 72nd for a while, I've got a few 35ths to git out of the way before I open the aircraft line again...🥱
My next 35th victim will be the below 😈
Yet another installment in the PzKpfw IV story.. there's a couple of known "blips"with this kit, but both are easily remedied, one simply with a brass set (I cannot be bothered, having plenty of the Tamiya and italeri supplied fine mesh offcuts to play with), and the other might not actually be a blip, given the way things happened on certain manufacturer's production lines in the final year and a half of the war.🤓
Breaking sprue on that one tonight ! 😎

Nice choice! Will be fun to see what you do with it!

I'm going to build it OOB as I aiways do, nothing added (apart from what may be in the kit), unless the kit's brass is lacking or dead wrong - early versions of this kit had rather funny brass mesh for the spent cartridge catching baskets around the gun. That mesh was nowhere near fine enough (looked like a bit of brass sized from the nylon mesh bags onions used to be packaged in at supermarkets and thus, way overscale.🙄 If that's still on the kit supplied brass, it ain't got a hope of being used, I'll replace it with some Tamiya or Italeri mesh leftovers, no dramas at all 🥱
Apart from that, I don't plan on doing (or adding), anything more with (or to), it. I've always been about getting the best results from what's in the box, just the way I roll these days - its easier - believe me ! 😆
Edit (25 mins later) Sod that,(plan - what plan ? 😖😲) don't feel like playing with a Mk IV again (all those roadwheel tyres to paint ! )🫨🤯 Got a Meng King Tiger round here somewhere, Gonna play with that and then exhume another Panther of some sort (unless I remember where I stashed meiner Tiger 1's.... 😈
Hetzer's ahead of the Spitfire in the paint shop...😈
Early days yet, but the basis of its camo is there...😎

It'll do, I'm disinclined to do anything else with it, got a bad case of the blahs with 35th... 🥱
Dang me if those 72nds didn't reignite my addiction to/for 72nd wingies ('ere we go again folks !) 🫨 That's wingies only, leaving the tanks well alone (can't see half the parts whilst they're on the sprues, let alone loose)
Looks like my joking about "rebuilding mein kleiner Luftwaffe" late last year was truer than anybody (perticularly me) thought at the time ! 😈
Where's that Tomcat got to ? Need something to play with after the Spitfire's finished (as well as the Hetzer, not going to leave it half finished ! )🫨
Not doing anything today - Tummy collywobbles have stopped play - Dagnab it ! 🤬

Mornin all
Still fragile today, taking it easy.. Might get paint on the Spitfire later, depends how I feel (not anywhere near 100 % at present). they do say the older you git, the longer it takes to recover from any maladies. Seems to be the case here. Madam's firing on all cylinders and has already headed off to work. I'm still not the best. Last time I trust a curry from that particular place

Not half as sorry as we both are..
Hopefully I'll get back on the Spitfire tomorrow, working strictly on a one til its done basis these days. largely staying on the Battle of Britain theme. There's quite a few German aircraft missing from that area of my collection, so I'm right for subject matter for the moment

Spitfire's done and dusted, looking rather good as a toothy Antipodean example of the species (even if I do say so myself !) - photos later.
I'll probably start a rather old Revell Me109 G-10 later, if I feel up to it (still not the best, a lot better than yesterday, but I might just give the glue fumes a miss today, think I need to come good properly and the extra day should do it) Its going to hit 40 degrees of C out here today and tomorrow - that's 104 degrees on the old Farenheit scale, - lovely and the sky is overcast and leaden with humidity already high - if it rains, the humidity will only go higher afterwards
Time will tell whether the 109 gets started today or not 😈
