Back at the old place, I had a spare bedroom for my hobby lair. It was right off the Master Bedroom. After a while, I had to move my spray paint activities outside, as the fumes were aggravating Mrs. Bucky's asthma. We sold that house, and bought a brand new one about twelve miles away. I was informed that there would be no hobby room in the new house. Not to worry, for I had already moved two outbuildings to the new property. I started setting up the 12 foot by 20 foot building as my Hobby Shack, so named by none other than Mrs. Bucky, herself! Here it is from start to current condition: Our meter is on a pole outside the house, so I was able to tap into it and run a line the Hobby Shack: I was able to enlist the help of our son, who is a licensed electrician. Together, we were able to run everything and get it going: All buttoned up: The inside is all wired up with plugs and lights, so now I'm ready to get going. I have A/C, too: More Hobby Shack to come..................................

I started with a bit of a cluttered mess: Side shot, showing the all-important A/C unit: This is after I added the railing. Front of Hobby Shack after trim has been painted white: The first splash of gray, showing the difference: Light gray on front is complete. Sign shows up well: Half way down the side: The light gray on this side is complete: The porch boards, after the dark gray: I'm planning to do a two-tone treatment on both sets of doors. More Hobby Shack to come..................................

Custom cabinetry and all that, right?? You got to put as much into it as your wife does in the kitchen, right?

Wouldn't work too well up here in the winter... I'd freeze my rump off trudging through the snow and frigid temps going back and forth from the home to the shack... I already do that for my woodworking shop... not fun!!! LOL!!! I'm glad my Eagles Nest is in the house on those days for model building!!!

These are the side doors, as they were when we took delivery of this building several years ago: I completed them right around dusk: I will get another shot of the building in the daylight tomorrow. These last two pics make it look blue.
