Here's the first inbounds of the new year to Gomez's stash heap
Will probably start with the Bishop, fixing the easily corrected hull dilemmas as I go along (that's why I got two Tamiya Valentines !) 🤫😈
After that, I'll probably do something German 🥸 (most likely from the stash, not what's pictured here)

Thank you. It came from an estate that was donated to us by the widow. Our club's website has brought us three such collections of model kits, partially built models, tools, paints and supplies from widows looking to pass their husband's kits and such to guys that will build them and use them. The best have gone into our contest raffle at Orangecon, saving us a bundle that we didn't need to spend on prizes.

In my case, my wife hates my hobby (although she loves knowing where I am when I'm doing it.) so I gave her the name and contact information of two of my friends and fellow IPMS members to have them come and take everything and deal with it. I would be thrilled to know my entire armor collection at least went on display somewhere when I'm gone, but hey, I'll be gone and in no position to influence what happens to it.

My wife did until she saw how much money I was spending on kits and supplies. Once I started winning at contests she softened a little. She softened a bit more when she saw me actually make money from it through commission work. Still, she doesn't like it, hence the contact information for people who are more willing to take care of it.
Life goes on....
Now back to your regularly scheduled program....

So I had one come in the mail, but I stopped at the LHS for a paint and glue restock and I always try to buy kits when I am there. Was not a super cheap day, but oh well, CC bill doesn't come for a month   |
