Cool! I might have to look for some of that. Anyway, here are a few things that came in for my birthday. First is this ship given to me by a friend and fellow St. Crispin's Irregular: Renwal USS Shangri La:  That will be on one of my slipways very soon. Next, I placed two orders using birthday money. One was to BNA Modelworks in Australia or New Zealand; I can't remember which. Another was ordered from Kitlinx in Utah. I also have a Christmas order I got from Hobby Easy that was ordered back in December. That one is on the slow boat from China as it still has not been delivered. However, the BNA order came in a few days ago.....before the Kitlinx one in Utah! Interesting! Here is what was in that BNA order: Dragon Stryker Dragoon:  Finally I have all three! This has even been started as you'll see on the next tour. Now Trumpeter is coming out with an engineer version with a dozer blade. Good thing I just got some more unexpected birthday money! Three IBG Swedish light tanks, the M-38, M-40K and M-40L:    I have the IBG Swedish M-39 coming from Kitlinx along with a few others, hopefully soon. That's all until I get the next boxes delivered.... |

Not much happening in the acquisition department lately. I did pick up this for the stash:  It goes with a Trumpeter T-64BV Model 1985 that I've had in the stash a while. When restocked at Sprue Brothers, there's a decals sheet for the current Ukraine War that I want to add. The other recent purchase is this:  It's a new brand for me so we'll see how it goes. I have become disenchanted with my previous brand because their product of similar size has had quality problems with the curing agent and the kit assumes that you will make up all the RTV at once. That isn't how I use it, and the curing agent wasn't available separately. With this supplier, it is so I don't have to be worried about using a bit too much of it with each batch of RTV that I mix. I can always buy more, and when I need to I can get it locally in Portland which will be convenient. There's no problem in using a little extra curing agent; all that does is decrease the pot life of the RTV (slightly, still plenty of time to pour molds) and make it cure faster. Soon I will test it for the first time on some widgets that are part of all US tank interiors from WW2. |

Just got advice from the P.O, my second UK Parcel has been delayed 😖🤬
There's another 8 ships in that, all in 700th, mainly Flyhawk, its still a mix of Cruisers and Destroyers. Couple of Trumpy's nautical niceties on it too. That's the one which should have got here first (ordered and shipped two days before the one above). At least it hasn't disappeared into the ether (yet ! ), its arrived by air over the other side of the country, so at least its in Aussie, so it'll get here sooner or later. the P.O moves in slow and mysterious ways its blunders to perform ! 😈
