Thanks for the compliments, my output is easily explained, I'm retired, single (widowed), and we're copping a fair bit of rain out here in Oz, so what's a feller to do ? 🤔

Meanwhile, the Tamiya M-10 Achilles has reached the paintshop, I'll sort its stowage out later..




Next build will be the Tamiya PzIV H I sterted earlier, then the Meng Panther A (late), with Bronco tracks, I'll make a start on the (Meng Decal style), zimmerit and spray its wheels before it hits the build desk, that one's been kicking around in the stash for way too long 😖🤫

I take it you mean the Panzer IV ?😖

The Achilles will be plain ol' British Dark Green (not Bronze Green, that's a post war colour), best match is Tamiya XF-61, plus a tad of XF49 Khaki, don't worry re exact colour match, it'll come good with weathering (that's a Shermanfreak recipe) .

The Panzer will be standard(ish) 3 colour scheme (that's the thunking at present), 🤯 suitable for the Normandy area in 44 .

Much better thanks, still get the odd day where it seema like I have the fllu 🤒 just the nature of the beast 💩, usually means I've overcooked it in some fashion. 😖

Not much happened yesterday, spent the day in front of the tube watching the Bathurst 1,000 😎

back into it today, bit more on the Panzer IV then I'll either give the Achilles a blast of paint or start the zimmerit on the Panther (Not looking forward to that li'l job) 😖🤯

Executive decisions tooken

1) No holidays over xmas, usually stop all modelling activities between 26 Nov and 26 Jan (My and my late Wife's burpdays, in that order and no other) 🤫😖 Will keep going over Xmas and new year, had enough layoffs this year, owing to illness...🤒

2) Meng Panther A has returned to the stash, got a few PzKpfw 38(t) variants I want to get built, starting with a few Hetzers from the likes of Dragon, Tamiya, Italeri, Academy and Thunder Model (to name but a few), also have a pile of other 38 (t) variants/critters/varmints to build, including a Tamiya 38(t) if I can remember where I put the li'l darlin' 🥸 !

3) At least a large part of next year will see moi assembling/painting/completely boogering up in some fashion 🤯), Panthers and King Tigers, of which there's more than a few clogging up my stash area. 😎 Its either build a few of those blighters or find somewhere else to live with a bigger area available for my stash (its nowhere near as huge as it used to be, that lot was mainly 72nd and has long gone via ebay mainly.😀

In other news the Tamiya PzKpfw IV Ausf H Early has hit the paint shop and will cop paint tomorrow, changed my mind about that one too, its off to the Russki Front !

A plan eh ? , Nah, its just me thunking aloud,🤯 given the way my stash is (a right mess, with piles of like vehicles here and there, and piles of unalike and unsorted vehicle kits all over the place and more on the way (been ebaying again ! 😖 )

If there's a plan at all, its to get that lot sorted into some kind of order, so I can see what I have and organise a build plan - THAT seems to be the plan ! 🤔

It has occurred to me that I haven't posted any happy snaps of what's been happening on the line so here ye go 🤔

Tamiya M-10 Achilles has had its main paint dun, just needs its bogie tyres etc: painted, its decals and weathering, with any luck I'll get the paint bits and the decals dun tonight and it'll be ready for dirtification on the morro 😎



Tamiya PzKpfw 1V ausf H (early) is ready for its decals, then its banishment to the Russian Front (where all kits thal prove to disappoint me personally* get posted), followed by weathering 😎 (*nb. the disappointment with this kit is mine personally, others may have different feelings) 



Dragon Hetzer (mid) has just started production, decided the Italeri one can wait (or donate its link/length tracks to this one if I decide not to bother with its furshlinger indy links, flash covered lil bally sods they are🤯)

Not much dun yesterday, needed to go shopping for trivial things like food etc; (I gotta eat too ya know !). Did get a few little touches dun on the Achilles last night, it still needs its turret stowage painted and fitted before weathering happens, it is now fully decalled (all 4 of them ! ). The PzKpfw IV still needs its side skirts painted and fitted before it gets banished to the Russki Front and weathered. The Hetzer is still trackless and has had no furter work dun on it. 😖

I'll get something dun on all 3 today, in between sorting thru and stowing miles of spare parts left over from every build I've posted in here since I came back, there's miles of the things !💩🤯 First decision re everything spare part-wise is whether to keep it or not ! 😖🤯

The Hetzer has tracks (all indy link - Oh wot fun ! 🤬 NOT ! 😖🤯) on both sides



Well as much track as is going on it anyway (the deliberately missing bit is under front mudguards and fighting compartment and behind skirt armour, so will not be missed) .



I'd forgotten (quite deliberately) how much fun it ain't to remove small indy links from sprues and clean flash from each one, before they can be used ! 🤫🤬😎

The Achilles' stowage sprues have been found, where I'd left them hiding in its box...



All I need to do now is select which bits are going on the turret sides and paint them beffore sticking them onto it 🤔

Finally, I'll git something dun on the Panzer IV later tonight...

Today's updates : Achilles now has a pretty well stowaged turret




Pz IV has been reprieved from being sent to the Russian Front and is now headed for the Normandy Area and has the appropriate camo base colour as well as its side schurzen fitted - will cop camo on the morrow.



Finally, the Hetzer is almost complete, paint has appeared on the lower hull and roadwheels and its gun barrel identifies it positively as the Flammpanzer (flame thrower/mobile fag lighter) variant

Going back to the "one til its dun" rule methinks.🤔

This three at a time business is driving me sane, trying to get all three to the same stage together, or making two wait til the third gets there (which is what's been happening around here lately) 😖🤯 I'd much rather get em dun and dusted (or on the shelf, gathering dust ! )  😖🤫
