Better day today 😉 put the Tamiya jobby back in its box temporarily (already had enough of Mk IV's, even though the H is a particular favourite of mine 🤫) will get on with the Academy kit later on. Meantime, I've recieved notification that 3 of my ebay scores are to be delivered today 😀, so watch for a post from moi in latest arrivals as to what they are.🤔

I'll lecha know re what's next on the line as soon as I do🤔, bit of a tossup 😖, but I'm feeling like a flak vehicle or two(or three 🤯)..

The Academy Mk IV is finished - oops ! 😳

That wasn't the original intention 😖 I decided to break out an old Aztech 470 airbrush I've had for ages (first airbrush I ever owned was a 470) I'd forgotten a lot of tricks etc; with 470's and camo patterns, tricks shown me personally by the likes of Brett Green (before he started Hyperscale etc;) James Blackwell and Chris Wauchop (to drop a few names)🤫, all of whom I knew and was friendly with ages back, still give Brett and Chris a ring to catch up etc; from time to time 😎

Anyway, long story short, for some reason it all came back to me 😆 and I didn't have a problem with the camo at all.🤯😳

Pictures tomorrow, before I put its decals on and finish the thing - I like my tanks to look like they've been played with hard and put away wet ! 😈😎

Ok Academy Pz IV is finished, decalled and weathered, as are a couple of others that were just about done 😀

Next to hit the line is Tamiya's M-10 Achilles, which I got the chassis fully assembled on before I called time on factory operations today, a good day's work has been dun and dusted.

Have a slight feeling (very slight !) that my mojo may have returned and might be biting ! 😖😎

Quick teaser 😈

Here's one of the finished Academy Pz IV H the camo is entirely freehanded with my Aztech 470 aitbrush.



Its a tad loose in places, but that knowledge is deffo there and coming back, only a matter of practice before I'm freehanding Ambush camo dots again ! Its a tad harder (more like impossible) to do freehand Ambush dots in 72nd, hence my decision to stay in 35th, need a tad more practice mit dusting things as well, ne'er mind, it won't be too long til I get those skills back again, my other airbrushes have been archived off as I regain my confidemce in the 470 as a true jack of all trades airbrush 😎


I'll post full photo sets of all the recently finished items in the relevant finished armour forum hereabouts over the next couple of days.
