Sorry to hear about your Dad also Greg! In our prayers for recovery for sure!!! Thank you, Joe. Time will tell; this echoes what we went through with his original stroke, and the previously undetected atrial fibrillation which caused that (and was controlled as he recovered) is back. We've seen this movie before. The difference is Covid, which prevents us from being in the room with him to advocate for him and comfort him and to be a communications relay to family who aren't present. We took shifts so he had someone with him 24/7 after the stroke; we can't do that now. Information flow suffers as a result, which makes us more anxious.

Guy, my condolences on your father's passing. Take whatever time you need to recover; as Greg said: family comes first.
Greg, I'm also sorry that your father is going through all this as well. I'm praying for both of you and your families.

Thank you for your kind words my friends.
Greg, I hope your dad will recover soon and that you may be at his side to comfort him. Lack of information feels terrible but keep thinking positive and grab that phone and call for info whenever you like. I was lucky enough to get permission to be with my father even together with my wife and daughters but at the home they knew my dad was in a very, very bad condition with no chance to get better. I'll light a candle for your dad now brotha.

I didn't do that much besides making a basic structure for the grasses and flowering herbs (laser cut paper ones), two rusty fuel drums which need more attention (dust, algae.

He had staff dial the number and called home to talk to her. He didn't sound quite himself due to the ravages of the ventilator tube he had been on until late Thursday, but seemed as conversational as he typically is these days. We're still expecting a clinician to call home with a more official update, but being responsive to speech, eating, and getting on his feet are unquestionably good signs. The prayers and good wishes are working quickly, it would seem!

Back on topic, the groundwork and fuel drums look fantastic already. Did you have to beat them up that way yourself, or did they come that way in an accessory set?

I'm glad your dad is on the better hand! Man do I have a powerful tea light! The drums are resin and they come as seen on the image. I like them and they are fun to paint and rustify.

True Joe and Jed, I did a bit, grass tufts which need a tad more coloring as some of the fibres look too artificial imo.

Night Shift, on Youtube has some great techniques for shading ground cover. Might help with some ideas.
