If anybody finds a lost plot lying about, please return it to Duke, with my compliments... π
The population of CA is very dense, and he's one of 'em at present ...ππ΅πΆ
There MIGHT be vids after scenery, but it won't be anytime like soon, I have no idea if or when he'll be available once he returns to Aussie, he's stuck in Hawaii due to the virus and he's not complaining (sensible chap that he is !)
Raining like the jimblys and flippin' freezing out here atmo, going to have a leisurely breakfast, then see if I feel like doing anything, being Friday today, I might just give myself a long weekend off π
Regards OB of knowing which way is up π

Hi Folks
First the bad news π₯Ί. Taking 3-4 months off Railways... Will still be muddlin (opening the Obscureco Aircraft lines again shortly) tis just about winter out here and I usually shut down my railways in the old location for the duration - that one was in the garage and it was way too cold down there in winter ! The reasons for this closure are mainly twofold (1) Its the time of year where nothing involving a PVA/water mix will dry out inside a couple of days and neither will regular (non model) Acrylic Paint. Both of which are necessary for sceniccing a layout. (2) I have almost no scenery stuff in stock π³ so I figger I'll shut 'er down for a couple of months and get the scenic stuff in stock gradually, thus not dinging any budgets for other things. As a side note, I need to recharge my railway batteries as well, so the break will quite probably do me a power of good as well !
Layout looked like this when I last took some photos yesterday
How depressing... π since those piccys were taken, I've removed the board across the room on which the cassette rested. No damage has been done to that board, just needed to git at something under it.
You'll find me posting in my "factory thread" for the next 3-4 months building Russki Jet Aircraft (mainly)
Regards to All OB of Back in a few months π

Might be back here sooner than that actually...
Bit of a slip last night resulted in half the wiring under two boards being ripped (literally) out by accident... I slipped and in trying to steady myself from falling err... ummm... scored a rather nasty own goal π²π€―ππ€¬β οΈβ οΈβ οΈ etc; and other emojis meaning "oh booger, darn and blast it all" π³
Didn't want to rewire it yet a-berluddy-gain π€« but it seems I have to and from the ground up on those two boards ! ππ€―π€¬
OB of oh booger and other naughty expressions π

This layout has been dismantled and all locos and rolling stock sold off, I'm only a plastic modeller (Styrenus Slingibi et Stickibus Energeticum) π not a railway modeller anymore
Sic Trainset Gloria Mundi (Gloria is sick of model trains on monday !) π€π€«ππ΅πΆ
Best OB π

Okay, that was fun to watch while it lasted. Looking forward to seeing what else comes off the Obscure workbench.
And who's Gloria?

Hi Guys....π
This was an unscheduled turn, a longtime railway mate of mine was up this way, visiting his parants, decided to drop in on me on his way home... He ended up making me a fairly ridiculous offer for all my unused track and points (about 50 yards of track and 22-25 points) plus all my locos and rolling stock and other unused layout bits (buildings, unopened kits, people packs etc;) Didn't take me too long to think about it π€and say yes π (I know he'll use it all on his layout) π
The cheque cleared today (do NOT stand by for a sudden deluge of new kits arriving here - I'm limiting myself to wot I got for a while yet - dat's my story an' I'm stickin' to it ! π), there's nothing new that grabs me as a "must have" in the fields/scales in which I work ! π
Best OB of nice to have funds in the bank and my styrene mojo back again π
PS It just so happens my mate's wife is named Gloria (yes she was here too, but she wasn't the Gloria mentioned in the earlier post !) π€«ππ΅πΆ
