Yes and they miss you round here terribly
They found nobody else wanted to eat the rats, spiders and other bitey insects after you'd left (or was that escaped ?) 😆 They're still a bit touchy about you leaving so suddenly. They've also removed the nameplate and restored the original name and plate to the ablutions block you renamed. I've provided them with your current address so they can send you the now redundant nameplate, together with the bill for all those "Joe was here" signs you painted (in black nail polish !) on the walls of every cel ... err..sorry, room you were accommodated in...
They've also given me permission to "deliver a right old straightening out" (as we say out here) to you, should we ever meet in person, despite my protestations that such an event is unlikely to happen... the only reply I've heard on that is "ya just never know, do ya ?" (as we say out here)... 😃
In any case, I was told I was free to go as, when and where I chose, after they'd confirmed the veracity of the certificates of Sanity I provided them with, from the well known Laughing Academy run by Dr Tarr and Professor Feather (who are still wondering where you got to after you tunnelled out of their outside toilet's septic tank.
Which is why I'm writing this whilst sitting inside my own little domicile, nowhere near any OSM premises (or branches thereof), to which I retired, following the death of my long time lovely blonde companion almost two years ago (that anniversary comes early next week and I'm not looking forward to it...)
Regards OB of Totally Sane (and have Certificates to prove it !) 😉

Never received the box as I have moved since you last wrote and didn't leave a forwarding address... the diving suit you loaned me to tunnel out through the septic tank worked a real treat... I left it in the trees just outside the hole if you want it back, of course it needs a good cleaning... I didn't have time for that! That going away cake you ate so much of had a self adhearing indestructible homing device in it and I left the code with those nice men in white coats should they have lost track of you as we didn't want the fine folks down there worried that you were out again after your last round of shall we say explosions of gigantic proportions after eating all the beans at that barbie on the beach. All the best to you at Happy Dell Acres!!! Oh yeah, I left you a present in your room, enjoy! All the best, Joe aka Houdini

Just cos your brains are in your derriere, doesn't mean yer a smart butt ! 😃
Ahem ! Moving right along, its a rather wet weekend out here and the Beureau of getting forecasts wrong weatherwise says its set to go long into next week... No matter we needed the rain, the drought has been eclipsed totally in the news by the Pandemic (as is right and proper) but its still there and just as disasterous for the state's farmers and farms, its been there since before the bushfires too, we've been in drought for the last four years.
I've therefore decided to repaint/refurb a few of my 35th critters, first assembled when I came back into 35th some time ago (before 2010 if memory serves me arright)... The first few of them came up ok, but I've never really been happy with their colour schemes and overall finish, so after exhuming them from the various finished items boxes in which they were stored for the move, they've been given a bath in some warm, soapy water and dried with gentle heat (preheat cycle at 100 deg for a minute or two in a fan forced oven !) and extricated before anyything melted (or got close to doing so !). That's a trick I learned from the Railway muddlin' folks of my aquaintance, its far less dangerous than it sounds !) 😗🎵🎶 and are ready for a respray. Before/After pix later.
Regards OB of think I've got a handle on the rhyme behind the reason for my jumpin' about since my lovely blonde partner passed (More on that later too ! 😉

LOL on your quote to yourself on your brains location... Never did understand how you were able to contort that way to get your head up there... If I tried your repaint idea I think I would end up with a pile of unrecognizable goo!!! Glad it works for you! Sorry for you loss of your soul mate my friend, anniversary's like that are hard on a person and will send some prayers your way! All the best, JC

Victimology - part the first... The intended victims...
At left, Trumpeter Ardelt Waffentrager mit 88mm PAK 43... All steel wheels were what production vehicles were supposed to have, so I painted mine that way, didn't come up too badly, but I can do better, methinks a late-war scheme with green and red bown largely obscuring the sand brown, Might get away with just redoing the camo, but knowing me, I'll probably start by completely respraying the lil darlin'.... On the Right its one of Mirage's PzKpfw Ausf L or Lynx. Reputedly an ex Tasca kit, although Mirage has marketed the ICM kit in one of their boxes as well as another manufacturer's Lynx kit (3 sets of moulds !) as well.... Anyhoo, its not so bad either, this one will be completely resprayed and cop new decals plus a metal gun barrel (probably from AFV Club, although I do have other brands of aftermarket 20mm barrels in stock)
There's only a thin coat of paint on both, so I don't intend pulling anything off either of them, just using the paint alreadythere as a primer, no need to remove any paint or decals, just spray over the existing.- quicker and easier. I don't usually paint tanks in any scale until they're fully complete with tracks on anyway. Open toppers (like SPG's or SP anti-tank guns) are a different matter !
Regards OB of Refurbs (the first of a few) 😉

Lynx has had its gun barrel replaced, with a 2 piece effort from Master Models of Poland
Both are about to cop an overall spray of Tamiya XF-88 Dark Yelliw 2 Acryl - a good late war colour, more later

Dun ! 😎
No more on these til tomorrow, want the new paint to set up properly before any camo etc goes on 😲
Now working on something else, or will be shortly after I select a kit to build (don't feel like wingy work today) 🤫...
Puma's now ready for weathering, but not today, damp weather/air not conducive for oil wash drying !
