Hi Folks
As stated above, the MiG 29 is dun, just needs a tadge of touching up here and there, plus its decals and she'll be ready for pics in the morning - providing the weather co-operates ! 🙏
Also done to the paint stage, the age-old Fujimi 1/76th M4A3E8 HVSS 105mm Sherman and their Panzer 1 ("Krupp Sports Car") are both done, next one about to hit the line is again Fujimi, their JgPz 38(T) Hetzer. All are OOB, no point in adding extras (or wasting money on same 😖) when the kits are as old as these are ! 😎
Regards to All OB of busy busy busy 😉

Yeah tiny tanks of fond, rose tinted memories, when they were the best detailed small scale kits on the market ! 🤬
Not any more they ain't, dunno why I bothered wasting my time.... 😈 I've already binned the rest of the older unbuilt Fujimis, not worth wasting time on. I'll finish these piles of poo 💩 because having got em this far, it'd be pointless to bin them, ! Rubbish belongs in the bin, so the rest of the 20 or so Fujimi 76th kits have gone straight in the bin, no point in building that rubbish any more and no point in keeping it either ! Bins were emptied today btw, so its pointless asking me for the kits, they've gone and good riddance ! Here's the plurry Hetzer - total pile of poo it is 😈 !
Rose tinted spectacles be blowed - phooey ! 🤬😖
Regards OB of no winks today, I'm serious ! 🤯

After the total disappointment with the Fujimi Tanks described above, I grabbed a pair of nice, old-ish Hasegawa 72nd Aircraft kits at random and...
P40N and P47D just about to the paint stage, and I'm feeling a whole lot better ! 😃👍
Much better than those Fujimi excressences ! 😈
Regards OB of feeling better now 😉

Moving right along, amid Obscureco's rearrangement to styrene only configuration.. 😈
The P-47D's copped its undercart doors and legs.... (P-40N Kittyhawk is in the paint n decal area) 🤫
Next on the line is at the basic assembly stage ... Its the old Frog, now Chematic via Gomix and various other Russki boxings, (just to be clear, this one was in a Chematic box, but with both Chematic plus Gomixs' badges on the destruction sheet) 😈 Gloster Javelin FAW 9 ("Flatiron" to its crews). I particularly wanted this one because unlike the Heller kit, (Sometimes boxed as an FAW 9), this one IS a true FAW 9, Heller's is actually a T-4 (Trainer) with odd shaped gun pods underneath 🤔 FAW = Fighter All Weather, indicating radar equipped. Anyhoo here she am as at present..😎
Best OB of still pluggin' right along 😉

Cheers Joe and John 👍
P-47's now in the paint shop (must sling some paint about in the next couple of days !) 😈 along wth the MiG 29 and another couple of aireyplanes I unearthed as well as the P-40 😖 (must be said, some of them are decals and touchups only, like the 29 and the unearthed projects)
Oh well, back to the construction bench, should get the "Flatiron" to assembled and fillered by lunchtime, which will give me time to start another RAF jet jobby this arvo 😃
Best OB of RAF jet jobbys 😉

Cheers Guys
Duke - I'm at dead slow speed as I pick up the threads again, nothing like fast at all. NOT going anywhere near fast...
Don't need you moaning about too fast and getting disillusioned again and using that as an excuse to stop production now do we ? 🤔🤫😗🎵🎶

Hang on .... I do hope that wasn't an order, mon ami ! 😲🤔😖
I'm going to build a few wingys first (too lazy to put em back in the storage boxes yet again ! ) 🤫 They'll go fairly quickly actually... Not really into rush jobs and mass production anymore, reached the age where they'll be dun when they're dun and I find I'm getting some very satisfying results with finished kits that way, time is (and can only mean) nothing when it comes to getting a finish that satisfies me.
Then I'll exhume and finish Exeter and the Hunt Class and git back onto matters Maritime mit oodles of stretched sprue rigging and brass, just cos I can 😗🎵🎶. There's a couple of resin 700ths out too (HMS Royal Oak and Vanguard, plus the Italian Guilio Caesar, which copped a direct hit to the bridge from one of HMS Warspite's clapped out 14 inchers at 21 Miles distance) and a pile of styrene HM cruisers coming (if the Flyhawk catalogue is to be believed) Tis about to be a great time indeed for the Miniature Maritime Modeller
Regards OB of mainbrace rigging, (so it can be spliced !) 😉

My friend, it wouldn't be your speed that stops my production. More like the wife and life are already doing it, especially now that the wife lost one of her two jobs. She's around a lot more, keeping me busy and away from the Hobby desk. Then there are the current events that sometimes depress me to the point of wanting to crawl back into bed until the next day. Still, I'm fighting back to get into the Hobby Room more often, as the latest updates in my Maddog Manufacturing thread show. I'll be looking forward to seeing your ships again. Maybe it will motivate me to get back to some of the ones languishing in my own shipyards.

The answer to that is contained in your answer...
Styrene isn't everything, just one tiny part of life's rich tapestry, making your hobby the number 1 thing of importance in your life, above all else is a mistake, because the rest of your life will deliver you a good kick up the backside the more you neglect it. Styrene can wait, life won't, don't be afraid to live and give a little. 😗🎵🎶
