Ok folks....Time for a revelation, as promised...😈
Its been getting more and more obvious as to where I'm going with this....🙄
Here's the latest pic, all tops screwed down, apart from the two piecer across the end wall (which might not need a top), plans for that area are still flexible 😗🎵🎶)
New model railway coming soon, but to do that, I'll have to start a new thread in another of the Forums here so, this is the last non-railway posting from moi in this thread for the moment 😲😖
I'll post a link back to here once the new thread has started - Onwards and Railways folks ! 😖😆
Regards OB of off the rails 😉

Hi Folks...
Robbo No need to rush mate, I still haven't finalised a trackplan or how the land will be formed around it (although I have fairly good ideas on both !) 🙄🤔
I'm not rushing this one, plenty of time to try to git it right first go, I've never rushed scenery or buildings and don't intend to start now ! This is stages 1 and 2 of a 4 stage layout, stage 3 will be going down the other side of the room, with 3 more 4ft by 2ft boards. Stage 4 will be the final configuration of the hidden yard, (I'm not going right round the room, for various reasons, that never did appeal to me ! 😲🤬!. Haven't even started thinking about that yet, got enough on my plate with this lot for quite some time to come, I reckon 😖🤯
I'll be starting a new thread in the Railway forum presently, as soon as I'm sure on landforms etc; I'm not in competition with anybody that I know of 😎
Best OB of still thunking.. 😉

... And I'm back here for a few months...Railway's closed for the winter, so....
One of the last things I did was dismantle and chuck the desk out, no matter, a second's thought got me a new one that'll do the trick. As below 💡
Take one workmate (not needed in winter !), open top as far as it will go....Park a 4ft x 2ft sheet of whatever's lying around on top of it and screw it down... in this case, its 3/4 inch white laminex, but hey ho... other timbers are readily available 🙂
Bingo ! Easily reversed when desk no longer needed, workmate can still be folded up for storage etc... 👍
If you're thinking I've dun this before, yer dead right ! 😃

All nose section dun and complete, next stage a bit of sanding on the outside seams...🙂
Rest of fuselage and tailfeathers coming along, next stage, the main intakes up front and the internals of the gear bays painted, then main gear legs to be added and (at some stage), it'll be joined to the nose section too ...😈

On the other hand, I might start something else (thinking Trumpy Tu-128 Fiddler !) we'll see !

I was still in bed when my knees froze - had a pair of wooly trackky daks on and a doona over me as well !
Next victim is a Zvezda MiG 29 SMT (9-19) "big spine" variant and it will be armed to the teeth (two really nice weapons sprues in the kit !) 😎, its at about the same stage the MiG 31 was at last night, (upside down on the desk with the glue not setup on its main gear legs !). Bit of filler going off on it as well. Might grab a pic before continuing on with it tomorrow. Will deffo grab a photo before it heads for the paint shop as well ! 🤔🙂
Best Regards OB of Russki Wingys 😉
