JThank you guys, I'm back with an update, finally! I'm still fighting the complex regional pain syndrome however I think just maybe I can kill this ugly fecker as I have days without the terrible nerve pains. I celebrate this with an update on the figures. The parts all glued together, 25 infantrymen, slightly converted here and there. The figures with their black and white coats on. It's a slow progress as I start the paintjob using enamels and later on they will be finetuned with the oils. The group on the left side of the pic below has had a second coat of enamels. Best regards!

I once worked with a guy who told me he was in the Royal Navy and helped take U.S troops to the beaches on D Day in landing craft, he didn't say much about it other than they all looked very young.
This is a nice tribute to them all 😐.

Thanks guys! The 25 infantry men were finished and have embarked. It was a helluvva job to get them done. I painted the Big Red One shoulder patch onto the left sleeves. I played with the photo shop to check if the thing looks good enough. I'm happy with it to be honest.
The figure's ready to go.
The water was done, the basic waves were shaped with plaster, coloured with a rylics and finished with different acrylic gels for water effects and also micro balloons for snow effects which were of great use to create the foam. The bow wave was built up with cotton wool and transparent acrylic gel.

The figures look a tad old school as they don't show sharp detail Joe, but with a little extra effort they aren't that bad.

Wow, good to see you back at it, Brother! What a line up; and I thought my project had a crazy number of figures, HA! Beautiful water works, Guy, very well done, great colors.
Ruck On Bby!

It wasn't easy to get that bunch of figgies done Steve, the shoulder nerve pains often made me stop and try again later.

This is amazing work, I suffer re-occurring frozen shoulder(s) so I can imagine what you are going through, you have my sympathies.
