Magnificent work on those vehicles! Way to go!
I'm thinking if you turn the M-30 about 20 degrees to the left, this might be more visually appealing, and it would give a bit more space to enhance the placement of the figures behind these vehicles. Of course, that is my humble opinion; take it with a grain of salt: I've never completed a diorama...
Looking forward to seeing more!

Thanks gents
Duke my method of figuring out layout is to just stack stuff together and move it 'till it's right while keeping the base small as possible
The duo thus far

No metallic drybrush on the '30 cargo deck and steps yet. Decals unfortunately proved to be the Academy scotch tape variety; they would not lay down and silvered badly

so off to the garbage bucket they went.
While waiting for drying stuff I began this which will get it's own thread

M-12 and M-30 are looking cool!! Too bad about the decals. I hate when they do that on a shiny build! Nice teaser shot of the M-24!

Thanks gents
Spent my bench time preparing some of the extras for the M-30; I may figure out other things to pile on it

That late in the war much American armor looked like Okie wagons escaping the dust bowl, I will try to capture that look here

Figures figured out

The Italeri M-24 died an unfortunate death; I thought I had it in a safe place and still managed to fumble a quart of paint thinner. Guess where it landed

What rotten news to hear of the M-24's fate. Your work on the other beasties is fantastic.

Mark, what's the status on the fallen rig, any possibility of giving it a oven cleaner bath and repaint??
Cheers, Ski.
