Jeff Belly button present and accounted for. Bruce There is plenty of detail on this beastie. That being said, this kit has a lot of small fiddly bits to achieve the detail. There are a couple of spots where I was not careful/precise enough and "paid for it" Jcon Thank you brother. Keith Thank you kindly my good man. Carl Thank you very much. I love working with Tamiya masking tape and light coats of paint. Jed Thank you for the compliment. The following pics are from over several days. This was NOT a marathon session. Rather than mask the bird I decided to try my hand at free handing the camo paint. It was a fun exercise. The decals went down nicely. Unfortunately I had some silvering...perhaps I should have gone another coat or two with the satin clear coat. I've got a couple ideas to work with it later. There are stencils galore on this beastie. Some of them you can actually read....if one could read Russian. The AC number on the left had minimal silvering. Here the decals have received a couple of light coats of satin clear coat. They ended up with several more light coats. Much better. I still need to place the AoA vane forward of the AC No. 687 is standing on its own legs now! The nose gear doors are the only ones installed. The others still need some work.

Good evening Keith. Thank you kindly my good man. My wife spoils me. She bought me a very nice Iwata AB several years ago. It seems like I am really just now learning how to fully use it.

Sweet camo spraying Dave . I've had problems with silvering myself , no mater how glossy the under coat. So good luck !

Thank you Keith for your compliment my good man. I've got a couple more Eduard MiG-21's in the stash. Including their dual kit with a MiG-21 PFM and A-4E. I would like to do that one displaying them both in flight.

I'm sure you'll have plenty followers if you build those on the pages of OSM!! Displaying them in flight would be awesome!
