Good evening y'all. Keith Thank you as always my good man for you support. Jcon Thank you kindly brother. Opposable thumbs and a brain pan always wins. Bruce Thank you kindly my good man. This kit is loaded with details. Jed Wow! Thank you for the high praise buddy. Steve Thank you kindly good sir. It was a small victory, but it had implications for the crap going on around the ranch. In short, it was therapeutic Dukemaddog As always it is good to have your support. A lot was done in short order today. The CP is now complete as is the bang seat. The multi-part harness is the PE stuff that comes with the Brassin CP set.
Sorry for the blurry pic. The poor digi cam is getting tired. I had to shave some off of the bottom of the gun sight, as the IP sits a bit too high. As it sits right now is perfect. The inside of the wind screen has a scratch from getting a dog hair out. I realized it after the windscreen was glued into place. I used foam safe CA glue. It does not fog the clear plastic. All control surfaces are now in place. It's starting to look like an aircraft
The ventral strake and gun pod are mounted.
Here is a detail shot of the "step" correction. I first used Bondo, followed by Vallejo putty. As always, everything was wet sanded. Some detail will have to be restored.

Carl That digi "eye" is unrelenting. The slightest scratch looks like a chasm. Jcon The mojo be flowing today. Keith Thank you. It was a good day at the bench. I reshot the CP pic. It turned out much better this time.
A couple of wheel well detail shots. The second one shows the compressed gas bottles.

Carl Thank you my good man. Dukemaddog Thank you very much. For what it's worth, I've been making jet noises at the bench. Snipersmudge Thank you kindly. Bruce Thank you very much. Jed You can almost feel a texture. The digi cam verified it. Not much progress until today. The holidays kind of backlogged the bench. A fair bit of color was shot today. Firstly, the flat black primer. I shot the underside with Vallejo RLM 65. It's close enough to start with as the paint will get a fair bit of weathering. I also shot a couple of the dielectric panels with Flat Green, and the air brake bays were shot with RLM 02.
The landing gear received their brake lines.
A couple of shots of the nose gear. It received both brake line and anti skid sensor line.
