With the Bristol safely placed in the display case, I felt it was time to pick up a kit I had started a while ago. Eduard's 1/48 MIG-21 MF Weekend Edition. It's been awhile since I've built a fast mover.

There are a few goodies to go with it.

Good evening everyone. Glad to see y'all here. The bang seat was mostly assembled when I originally started the kit. I spent some time re-familiarizing myself with what was going where. The styrene offering is really quite good, but this resin offering is just that much better in detail. The black primer was shot this evening.

Unless one is depicting an ejection or displaying out of the the bird, much of this detail will not be seen. It's still pretty cool.
