I got some new kits in the mail today I've been looking forward to getting these kits for along time! yeah I use to watch Batman as A kid in the 60s so these kits bring back memories. I got a few things from Micro Mark this week. A photo etch bending tool. I buy metal paint bottle caps because the plastic ones don't seal and waste paint AND A FREE MAGNIFIER

Wow !!!! Super nice haul you got but I have that helping hands and I had to take the Magnifier off it cause it is to close to the work and you can't get your hands in to work so I just use the hands and I love them

Great stuff Darcy!!! I've never seen a brush like the one on the right. How do you use that one, and what type paintwork do you do with it??

Great stuff Darcy!!! I've never seen a brush like the one on the right. How do you use that one, and what type paintwork do you do with it?? The bulbus brush is a 30-0 and I use them for fine detail for things like eyes and bolts .The shape of the handle makes it easier to hang on to. Darcy

ment to ask about that brush too, never seen one either, most of the brushes i have and even when i buy a new one i always cut the handle off and slightly bend the brush end over a bit, i seem to be able to use em better that way, plus i mostly need to use an angle poise magnifier lamp (the ones with a round floresent tube in there,) so with my reading glasses on and my nose up against the magnifier and the thing i.m painting close on the other side i get the brush handle caught in the light chopped off brushes are easier for me to use

I may have to try one of those brushes. popeye, I use one of those swing arm magnifiers with the round tube, also! Smudge marks from my nose on one side, now and then a little paint splatter on the other!!!!

Ahahah! exactly the same mate, if i got any closer i'd swallow the lamp! ;D i stripped out the lense from a projector ages ago, very high magnification when you get it just right, handy for the odd wee splinter removal, if i had another and could make a pair of glasses to hold them i could probably see the paint "microns" ;D
