I may have to try one of those brushes. popeye, I use one of those swing arm magnifiers with the round tube, also! Smudge marks from my nose on one side, now and then a little paint splatter on the other!!!! Ahahah! exactly the same mate, if i got any closer i'd swallow the lamp! ;D i stripped out the lense from a projector ages ago, very high magnification when you get it just right, handy for the odd wee splinter removal, if i had another and could make a pair of glasses to hold them i could probably see the paint "microns" ;D Me To! LOL

I am not sure how much but I do know Micro Mark carries a bunch of detail brushes like the one Darcy has. Easy enough to get online from them.

The four chevys in the middle $5 each ;D $1 each the comet and 55 chevy ...love the Comet I got my tool box for the Midget trailer Yea we are going old school cool with these caps Had a good day figured I would get the 55 stripped ...Welllll that didn't help a whole heck of a lot, because the whole body is totally super etched and not worth messing with, I think I see my first rust job coming. They did work on the stance and got it where I would like it.

Very cool choices Steve I sure wish you could buy kits for 13.99 a piece, here in Vancouver each of those kits would be $20 to $25 a piece. Darcy

Same here Darcy, if ya bought them in a retail store they would cost $20 and up. But the world changes here in the states when ya drop below the Mason Dixion. Life slows and prices drop. God how I wanna go back home to Carolina.

Good thing for the intrenet It allows us to shop anywhere in the world we want with such an excellent variety no hobby shop could possibly compete with. Even with shipping you can get excellent deals.Saddly the only thing I buy at the local hobby store now is paint because they won't ship it to Canada and I like the store owner. As a kid I really enjoyed my visits to various shops in the area that have slowly disapeared. Problem with I-shopping is shipping (say that 20 times fast,LOL!) charges. Most places around here (Hobbytown USA,Hobby Lobby, other LHS's) are in that same range ($20-25),Magic Mart is kinda a throwback to an earlier time (10-20 years ago). They also have all of the Revell '06-09 Mustang kits for $13.99 (except the GT500KR). Problem is (and it's good that they have this,but...) they only ever have Revell kits to chose from.
