Popeye....everytime I get hit with that "too many kits" thing, I simply start counting pairs of high heeled shoes that I certainly didn't buy!!!! (I know that's dangerous, but I do it anyway!!) lol
Steve....I've told myself that before, too!! lol
Darcy....That one's on my short list, as well!!

LOL,I've told me that umpteen dozens of times It never lasts though...I'm currently eyeballing a pair of Mustang Bullitt NIB's that the shipped price would be less than what Hobbytown wants for one...and the dude has three of em! And over on eBay,there's a dude that has a MPC 1983 Mustang GT kit NIB (but e wants over $50 shipped ),which I need for my collection..........................LOL!

Where's the guy who wants $50+ for shipping? if it the UK then it's a rip off, it cost around £5 and a bit when i sent the package which would be about 8-9 bucks, if you post a link to his item and wish i may be able to buy on your behalf and send it over to ya, (assumeing i can afford his selling price) at least then you know you aint getting "bumped" just a thought personally i wont pay high shipping charges, the sellers should set a price for the item their happy with instead of hiking the post charge, hate that cr@p

The one thing I don't like about ebay is the wide range of shipping charges that sellers have. Some of them don't even charge anything!! It seems that ebay could set some guidelines for such things. Most model kits are roughly the same size, so it seems that the shipping should be the same within the USA!

Well,if they did write up new guidelines, they'd charge even more,LOL! They charge when you sell,AND when you ship something Popeye,it was in the states and shipping wasn't outrageous on it,just a high priced old kit...but then again,an annual MPC 1983 anything,I can't exactlrun to the 5 and Dime and pick three up,LOL! I appreciate the offer, though my friend,it put a smile on my face knowing you would have

OK! yeah the price some guys want for these old kits is a bit "OTT" but as ya say, if you want it bad enough you'll pay up, just what these guys are counting on, still offer stands as well as other members over there, if you see summat on a uk auction i will always be happy to bid for you assumeing i can afford it at the time, bucky was gonna do it for me on a MPC gangbuster pair of lincolns but he forgot the auction end they went pretty cheap too,

OOOOF!!! I must apologize, popeye! I have been stretched thin and my computer crashed as well, so I guess I just plain ol' neglected this duty. I'm sorry for the extra long delay, my friend! Post up a list of those Gangbuster kits you're needing, or send them to me in a PM, and I'll get back on the case!!

I've not ever sold anything on ebay, and the stuff I have traded for and sold to fellow forum members I've sent off without charging anything. If I ever did charge, it would only be what the Postal Service charged me. This is a hobby, I agree, but a lot of folks on ebay are in it for the money. Some don't even know what a model kit is for!!!!!lol
