I hope Bucky does not mind this. Instead of all having a seperate threads we could add to this thread what kits you have just added to your stash.
My latest is the Batmobile snap kit. I have too many kits so why not get one pre painted. Tomy Ivo Dragster. And I am working on trantla.

Speaking of Batmobiles, this was dropped off at the shop this week for maintenance: This is one of the original cars from the show, and yes, the owner actually drives it occasionally! Tom

How awesome is that! Fancy having a job where cars like this turn up. I am so green with envy I positively glow in the dark!! Also just bagged this on evil-bay, After this and the anglia for a while. Gonna re-create what I built back in the early 70's when my builds were a bit better than glue-bombs (but only by a bit). Bob b

Batmobile-I don't get to drive the cars (I don't even fit in most of them!) I plan on taking my camera tuesday to get some engine and interior shots- I want to get the full detail kit when it's out. Thames- The Revell gassers are some of my favorite models. I recently looked for original kits, but was only able to find Model King re-issues. I think the main difference is the wheels. I still need the Austin and Henry J.

I hope nobody minds, but I tweaked the name of the thread a bit from "purchases" to "scores"...cause one might not have purchased a new kit/bit,could have traded, been gifted, etc ;D
On that lastone,I have a couple to shoot pics of and post up myself.
And REAL kool beans on the scores and Batrides posted above this here post! ;D

Here they are. These came in the mail last week, donated by a good friend... And this one came today from another good friend of mine... And this one one I had but was melted into a pile of goo in the fire,so Mama let me score another off eBay since they sell cheap,LOL! (and yes, gears in my head are turning about kitbashing that '94 Indy Pace car Cobra ragtop and this one to build a more accurate replica of my 1:1 ;D),it came today too...

Monaro-Thanks. That Continental is a kool looking old kit (I grokked it,perused and carressed it's parts the other day),and very unique building sequence...
Bucky- Thanks to you too! And on the needing more glue...NOT if I can't make myself sit at the bench long enough to get going on anything,LOL! I been to busy with the Mustang the last several days and next few weeks, prepping and dragging i at Bristol Dragway's Street Fight nights, only three left, trying to shave a full second with new clutch, better tires (new Kumho's off my broken down S10,same size as stock but they're new,LOL), .410 ring and pinion (stock is/currently .273),practice and tuning everything to get the most out of what I have (after a clutch and rear gears install come Monday, next week should be interesting, teeheehee,I will finally be able to launch at more than an EASY 1,500 RPM and not granny shift down the track...killing my ET in the process. My trap speed was pretty sweet for the setup though, close to triple digit a couple times ;D)

LOL,well,I figured I almost never roll down the interstate with it,living here (unless rolling to the next exit to avoid redlights,or the 10 or so miles to Abingdon...),and it be a 5 speed anyways (for now...if I get REALLY serious after she finishes college or finances otherwise open up,it'll be a T56 6 speed ). I DON'T expect an earth shattering differance, they say going from a .273 to a .410 in general is a good .6-.9 second gain (or the equvilant of 80-90 HP),but she's still heavy, running street tires, and most of my experience is rolling starts (anywhere between 5 and 70 MPH,depending on where I'd be),LOL! I'm just hoping to get it solidly in the 14's,regaurdless how deep,by the end of season (3 more races),and look into 13's next year (and will probably leave it looking as close to stock as possible ).
