Chaps. With the continued non appearance of the ZSU, I'm going to have a go with Tamiyas new 1/48 release which HAS been delivered.  Despite being in the smaller scale it's actually fairly large and the box boasts about 175 parts.  Initial inspection is positive, should be fun. |

Nice,Tamiya 1/48 stuff got me started in armor modeling,should be good.

Modest update alert. Hull is underway. As with previous Tamiya 1/48 releases, either the hull is made of metal or they provide weights to give a better 'feel'. It's the latter here, all glued up and will now sit a while to set, don't want that coming loose and landing on me foot!  |

Chaps. Hull sides are on. Slight warp in the hull floor pulled up nicely and everything sits properly.  More soon. |

Excellent start Mence. Tamiya kits are great models to start with. Looking good so far. Next, they'll be making Planes in 1:35 scale. I doubt that; they are already releasing them in 1/32 scale. |
