Different colour wheels as you know is not wholly uncommon as replacements were often not available in the sand finish. I just thought it would break things up a bit, add a little visual interest? Jed, haven't forgotten the image of the figure buddy, bear with me.  We had a lot of that in the Gulf, in fact some of us started off with green Warrior MCV80's!! My best mate told me of when he was deployed to Iraq after I left and his Bn took over X amount of vehicles on deployment,they were in desert cammo but at a vehicle wash they turned almost green when they came out!! apparently there had been a mix up and and the paint used was for training areas like Salisbury Plain where it is required for quicker change over of theatres of war training. |

Thank you kind chaps. Well, time to shut the gate on this one. Won't bore you with the details, you know what steps are needed. Only small downside was a couple of the decals silvered a little, no huge deal.  And there we have it, very little to fault this new arrival from Mr T., if 48 scale armour is your thing, buy one or two, they're a blast. Now, fingers crossed a couple of resin conversions appear... Thanks chaps. |
