Good morning everyone. Progress has been a bit slowed of late. That thing called life happening and all. Thank you everyone for your compliments...yes, even the ones with the "zingers" in them. I have the rest of the decals on from the other day. I'll get some pics up later. Hopefully, today I can get the control surfaces mounted, along with a satin clear coat over the decals. The control surfaces will likely be mounted using CA, as I do not want any "drift" after mounting them. The surfaces will all be deflected, as I feel it adds life to the build. Plus, the kit allows for it without modification.

Good evening everyone. I got done what I had hoped I would, plus getting the painting started on the prop. Here's the tail feathers....with a satin clear coat. The prop painting has started. There's a bit more to go, but you get the idea. It's just mocked up here.

That's beautiful work, Dave! The prop looks like real wood! (Is it?)

Good evening Keith. Thank you kindly for the compliment. The prop is the plastic kit offering. It was painted with Vallejo Wood, and the darker color is 502 Abteilung Wash Brown (oil). The oil paint was then gone over with a brush dampened with mineral spirits. This will dry for a while as there are red bands that will need to be painted, along with the copper leading edges
