Outstanding work friend. You really took care of that nasty seam and your weathering is looking great.

Good afternoon Keith,Carl, Jcon, and Doogie. Thank you for taking the time to have a gander, and for your compliments. I was talking with a coworker the other day about the non-gluing issue. He mentioned that the humidity had gone waaaaay up. When I glued the rigging to the top wing, it was sunny and relatively dry. The day I tried gluing to the bottom wing, it was pissing rain. The bench is in the garage, and it was cooler and more humid. It's a theory. Anyway, I bought some new bottles of CA just in case. I was eyeballing the winged beastie on the bench, and it's time to get back at it. THere's other things I am hankering to build.

Fantastic looking plane
A fella at our club is going to do a demo on rigging bi-planes can't wait to see it being done
I need to spend more time on the underneath of planes/vehicles as I saw the judge at the recent competition pick up my plane and turned it upside down to inspect the underside straight away

Good evening everyone. Keith After several false starts, I finally go the rigging done today. Tojo72 Thank you kindly for the compliment my good man. Wes Thank you for having a gander and the compliment. I finally got the rigging there today. Robbo Thank you kindly mate. The rigging is completed. Well, what's between the wings is complete. There are still the control wires to go. Read on.....I'll give my two cents on how I finally got it done. Jcon There's a reason that I'm one of "those" people who "sands the undersides of drawers". It channels the OCD, and sometimes it pays off. Today I decided to give the rigging yet another go. First I rigged two lines between the cabine struts. Two for two. So, I ran with getting the rigging done. All the lines were glued on the first try. A few times I used accelerator. The CA I used this time was a gap filling type...which is one of the types I had tried before, when none of it was working. Not sure why it worked this time. All I know is that it did. So as you can see, the engine, radiator, and gun tube are mounted.
What took a several weeks to slog through on the port side was completed on the starboard side in about 30 minutes.
The point and shoot digi cam was having fits trying to find a focal point for this shot. There's going to need to be some touch up done. Especially on the port side. Before I can run the control lines, There will need to be a few decals laid down first.

Thank you kindly Keith. I wish I knew what was different from todays rigging session as compared to the earlier ones. I'm now loving the rigging bug that has bitten me. I wish I had purchased WnW Gotha bomber before they sold out. There's always the FE.2b or the Felixstowe
