With the mojo restored I thought I’d have a go at an AFV so here’s Tamiya’s fine JS-2 Boxart What’s in the box Not sure whether to do the ‘normal’ heavily battered Berlin finish or a late ‘45 Czech version anyhow... off we go!

OOTB tracks for this one, Tamiya has given both glueable bandies and link’n’lenght. The link type comes with a jig to help create the sag seen on these, I’ll give that a go Tojo, DF7, welcome to the thread fellas

Update time Hull is supplied in two half’s , these are glued together. I’ve removed one of the front mudguards as WWII pics show this was commonplace. Turret is together too. Tamiya have given it a very subtle cast finish but I’m not sure it’s heavy enough, I might get the liquid poly and wire brush out! Lower hull has had all its arms added. Front plate and rear plate are also separate and now fixed. finally, wheels and cannon. Wheels are okay and headed for sticks. I think I’m going to replace the kit gun with a metal AM one as it looks a bit banana-ish ACW as ever

That's an awesome start, Steve. I think I'd go the metal barrel route too. Unless you want to shoot around corners.
