It Will... hopefully, when the rest of it is applied ! 🙄
That's about half the camo on it - more to come..I'll decide whether it'll pass fit for the display shelves (or goes straight into a storage box 😖), after its fully painted.🤔

Cheers Folks 👍
I think the Ju-188 is looking like it will pass muster...🤔
As will something else I've started, just for a slight change... That's one of the new Eduard kits.. Not sure how it got into the photo, must have snuck in whilst I wasn't looking (dat's my story an' I'm stickin' to it !) 😀

Cheers Folks 👍
On the desk, an Eduard Weekend Edition Spitfire VIII is taking shape, I don't intend documenting its construction, its the same kit as the Aussie Sharkmouth example I documented earlier in these pages...
Just departed to the shelves are the Italeri Ju-188
The Eduard P-51 D Mustang (from the "Aces of the Eighth" double kit), finished as "Kit" Carlson's "Nooky Booky II"
Plus the oddity, Airfix's Blohm and Voss BV 138, which seems to look wierder every time I look at it...
That's where its at for the Works thus far this week !

Spitfire is airframe complete and back in its box and will be resumed and finished sometime in the future...😈
What happened to cause the immediate cessation of all interest and projects in 72nd ? It came about thisly, thatly or possibly thusly... I was fiddling about in an idle moment with my Airbrush and playing with its settings (Testors/Aztech A-470), when a memory suddenly hit me (like a well hurled brick between the eyes), namely how to set it up properly for fine line, no masking necessary, camo in 35th... several unmasked fine lines and shapes with ambush style dots on a scrap piece of card later, my 35th mojo had suddenly resurfaced and was rarin' to go, so away went the Spitfire and all interest in 72nd for a while 😲
The desk at present looks thusly... 😎
The already painted Italeri SdKfz 232 6 wheeler, The Takom JgPz Hetzer (camo paint still drying on that one !) and a restarted AFV club SdKfz 251/21 "Drilling" Flak Halftrack. For once, nothing to do with my eyes (except a big thank you from them to moi) 🙄
That's where its at in the Works today

It's amazing sometimes how doing certain things will spike the mojo to do something else. Beautiful job on that camouflage pattern, looking forward to seeing the rest painted.

Cheers Folks....
Well, the Flak half track is back in its box, there's a few rather essential parts missing from the gun mount, nothing I can't modify from spares plus a bit of scratch building, but not at present, it is a lot closer to finished, but its back in its box for the moment... The Armoured car and the Hetzer are awaiting decals and weathering, I'll get to them sometime this week. So much for the 35th Mojo...and whatever I had in mind in that scale...🥱
The 72nd Spitfire is back on the desk, to be followed shortly by a Hasegowa FW 190 D-9, and a Dragon FW Ta-152 C and Ta-152 H, after that, it'll probably be another P-51D of a colourful nature.. I'll get onto some more WW2 German (to start with) twin engine fighters after that.
I'm staying with 72nd whilst my eyes last. 🤓

The desk is rather busy at present....🙄
From the left, Spitfire VIII needs paint on its prop blades, and its wheels, canopy and radio aerial added to cross the line, FW 190 D-9 (Hasegawa), needs paint and a few more bits added, Ta 152 C needs a bit of sanding etc, before its ready for paint. I should add that the 190 and 152 were unopened kits, still in their boxes yesterday morning.. Hopefully, the Spitfire will clear the line today and the other two tomorrow... That's the idea at the moment anyway...🤔
After these three clear the line, I'll be starting on a few WW2 twin engine types...🥱

Spitfire has been finished and has moved to the shelf of dun 😎
Ta-152 C (left) and 190 D-9 have copped their underside colours and the lighter of their topside camo colours... both should cop the rest of their camo and be ready for decals tonight 😀
Looking round for an Eduard Me 110 I know I've got hidden round here somewhare... 🙄

Moving right along ... 🥱
72nd Ta 152 C (Left) and 190 D9 have been painted, glossed and await their markings (happening today hopefully),
Takom 35th late StuG III has finally been finished to the paint stage....its from the "Ersatz M7" 2 in 1 kit, and is the undocumented third option that can be built from that kit, all necessary parts are on the kit's sprues
The Dragon 35th late StuG IV has finally resumed construction....
Things have slowed to a glacial crawl around here, owing to a fall, in which I managed to break a rib and bruise my lungs, making breathing slightly difficult and sleeping impossible..🥱 Things are happening until glue or paint fumes mean pain from coughing stops play.🤕
