Cheers Guys - Thanks for the comments 👍
Its almost "stick a fork in it" time for this 109F.. 😈
Next time you see her, she'll be finished and on her way to the shelf of Dun..😎
The other one is still at the just started stage as it was pictured on the last page, that situation will be improved either today or on the morrow...🙄

Here ya go then...
Eduard Me109F-1 in the colours of Werner Molders in August of 1941, one of the last aircraft he flew operationally, before being promoted to General of the Fighter Command and perishing in the crash of a Heinkel 111, which was ferrying him across Russia, on a tour of inspection of Fighter bases
Its in the more commonly used (on 109E's), colour scheme of RLM 02,, 71 and 65, used during the Battle of Britain. A lot of the early 109 F's operating from France over Britain were finished in these early colours. This kit is one of the two sold as the "Wunderschone Neu Maschine" set, the second 109F from that set is under construction at present.

Hi Folks, please excuse radio silence. Network upgrades this end have meant connectivity problems hereabouts.
Next to be dun will not be the second 109 F, (Bit tired of 109's at present) 🥱, tossing up twixt a Dornier 17z or an Me-110 Nightfighter. Both have a nose full of cannon and radar antennae....😈 Oh what fun those fiddly things will (NOT !) be...🙄.. anyways....
I'll make the final decision (or derision, whichever the case might be) 😖 tonight, and get it started before the end of the week... Tomorrow is BCC removal day, My friendly neighbourhood lump on my left forearm is being removed under local anaesthetic, which will prove interesting. I've only had such things removed from my face and nose before, so I know what the sting and burn of the anaesthetic feels like on my face, 😲 surely it won't be that painful on my arm ? I'm almost looking forward to it from the less pain point of view... As long as ithe pain doesn't drive me sane I should be right methinks... 🤔 That's the theory anyway...😈
Catch yas next time mit photos (of whatever kit I start (NOT my forearm before/after the "Lumpectomy" !) 😳

The Lumpectomy went fine, no more lump and a nine stitch scar to show where it was...
Ain't figgered out what I'll start yet.. Tomorrow's payday, so I might see what I can afford to grab, feel like a bit of a change from Luftwaffe, (but not in the mood for the F-14 I started in these pages earlier)
Best M of WW 😉🙃 (and nine stitches 🫨😖)

As I said, it won't be the second 109F next....
Nor will it be either of the nightfighters (surveillance ?) 🤔
It'll be a pair of Me-163 Komets (Academy kits), or a Battle of Britain liveried Me-110C mit sharkmouth (Italeri), or an Me-410 (Italeri again),or an FW 190 D-9 (yet again Italeri), or possibly a Hobby Boss Dornier 335, or a Ju-88/109F "Mistel" composite (Italeri again !), they're all in the "build next" pile, although the Mistel won't be the first, given my current allergy to 109's.... 😖
What's dogging me atmo is these boogers on/in my left forearm....
The one at top left is where he took a sample of the dry, scaly skin out and sent it off for biopsy, looks like its Bowen's disease...My dear old departed Dad lost his right earlobe to that (and copped 47 stitches in his right ear as a reminder - I know, (cos he made me count the boogers !) 🫨 The other 9 are where the BCC was (so much for "a stitch in time saves nine" eh ? I've got the first one as well as the 9 it was supposed to save ... Worst prob about them is they're now at the stage where they don't hurt, - til you bump them, or the cuff of your jacket/jumper catches on them as you don/doff it or the fibres of your towel get caught in them after a shower 🤯 Ooh the language ! 😈

Cheers Guys 👍
Still got the stitches (they're coming out next Wednesday... 😀
But I did say I'd be working on two Academy Me-163 Komets 🤓
..and an Italeri Me-410..😎
Or (just to be clever) .. All together now... 2 Komets and a 410 🥱
Next trick is to get them camouflaged and decalled over the next couple of days... 🙄

I really like the two little Komets. They have a very futuristic look to them. And the 410 looks like a hefty brute sittin' next to them. Are all three the same scale?

Cheers Folks 👍
@ Bucky - Yes they're all 72nd scale, so 6 feet on the real deal is 1 inch on the model 🤓
They now look thusly 😎
I had hoped to have them finished by now, but alas, time and life were not on my side...😳
Decals in the next couple of days.... (I hope !) 🙄
