News Flash... Had enough of Schmitts for the moment, going to do a Stuka and a FW 190 of some description next (probably a 190 A-5 (Eduard weekend edition)... the Stuka will be an Italeri Ju87 B, just pondering which kit supplied Battle of Britain colour scheme in which to finish it

Sitrep Fri Feb 9

Well, I've finished three 72nd Aircraft and got the Italeri 35th Hetzer nearly dun, but its been tipping down rain all day thus far (1:32pm as I type this) and showing no sign whatever of letting up.

Basically, the Academy 109G-14 is done, as is the AZ Model 109 H and an undocumented Italeri Ju 87B Stuka, I found finished but undecalled in one of my drawers of stasis, think it had been there from before I moved up here in 2018... anyways, its dun now and on the shelf.. Another day or two will see the Italeri 35th Hetzer finished, so Ill post photos of all that lot up here in a day or two, assuming the rain stops allowing moi to get outside to my photo taking area.

For the rest, I've had a lil accident, tripped and fell into a flight of stairs, broke a couple of ribs, no biggy, I'm used to coping with that stuff and my eyes ain't playing the game at all atmo.. I needed a complete break, but NOT that way ! 😖🤕 (a complete break, now there's a thought... hmmm... 🤔😴

Matters Arising... Got the promised piccys taken about 10 mins ago, not the Hetzer, its been banished to a drawer of stasis for the moment, but its a lot closer to the finish line than it was.. Other matters have intervened as a result of the fall I mentioned above, nothing too nasty, I can deal with it, but time will be the enemy on this one, could somebody leave a light on for me if I disappear please ? If I do disappear, it won't be more than a week or two - THAT I CAN promise ! 🤕

Ok here's the 109 G-10, its the old Revell kit OOB and its still a goody, ain't much wrong with it at all ! 🤓

And the AZ Model 109 H-0 a bit of a fiddle with the wings but I got it there in the end...😴




Finally we come to an old Italeri Ju 87B Stuka that has been lurking in one of my drawers of stasis since before I moved up here
roughly 6 years ago, so I figgered it was about time it joined the collection. 🥱

Well... I'm back (kinda/sorta) still weak but slowly getting back up to battery. Turned out to be Glandular Fever paying me a return visit. Not at all nice.

Nothing's happened on the desk, apart from a light coat of dust which needs removing, there's an Eduard Weekend edition Focke-Wulf 190 and an ICM Dornier 17Z Nightfighter on the lines, only thing that's been done on both is cockpit and other internal areas painted before illness stopped play. I'll get onto them in a day or three, when I can stand the paint/glue fumes.

Had plenty of time to think properly re a few things and had a lil idea, a quick trip to a local electronics emporium today, for a certain small item about the size of an AA battery and I'll soon see if it works the way I thunk it might...

If that experiment pans out, WardShips might just be a viable proposition for re-opening as a going concern, with all brass doobries as well...
