I play wiv a lil plane (in seventy- tooth), occasionally as a break from big tanks is all. This is just the latest one, its one of ICM's Me-109 E variants (E-4/E-7 actually).

it looks like this now...



When dun, it'll join this lot (ICM 109E's, Misterkit 109F's and various G's plus a 190 A and a 190 D, both Misterkit items,



Not forgetting this lil bentwinger (Airfix's new Ju-87 A/B Stuka)



plus a couple more (as yet unbuilt), another Misterkit 190 and an Italeri He-111)

No rabbit holes, garden paths or devious plots (there may have been a little bit of  malice aforethought though, given the way I posted it !😈) All way above bored 😖

Nothing much happening here of late, not been too well and my knee is being painful as well. 😖🤒🤕

The 109 has the first of its camo colours on it, and the Panther F has its roadwheel tyres painted, still needs its tool handles and their business ends painted, then its markings and weathering to suit. 🥸

I'll get back onto both in a couple of days, taking the weekend off 😎

Back to the joys of 35th indy link tracks, 🤫 good old style Dragon jobbys, bit fussy, 😖 but when you can get 'em looking like this easily enough...

Had a good run on that one today, with any luck (and the merest zephyr of a following wind),😆 it'll make it to the paint shop on the morrow and I'll make a start on something a tad more complex - 🤔 I'll letchas know what that'll be when I decide ! 😖

And for my next trick... This is the go methinks...🤔 Its been kicking around in my stash for a fair while now...'bout time I did something about it ! 🤯



Started out with the cab internals, various shifters and seats, plus the dash.... and a lil panel or two down the back 🥸



Then under the front end and get the steering gubbins installed (after scraping flash off the thinner (easily broken 😖🤯🤬), little bits 😖, no breakages this time - lucky me ! 😆😎



Stopping for a brief pause - lunchtime ! 😋 Back later, after a munch, a coffee or two (and a burp 😳)

I've always liked that vehicle...

Its still a good kit too, far from the old Esci item as could be (Italeri owns the old Esci moulds), but this ain't a reissue of any part of the old Esci, its a completely new kit ! 😎



Got the rest of the Chassis dun, front wheels just plunked on until after painting, roadwheels and link/length tracks down the back gave no problems, going to let it sit and harden the glue off for awhile. Next stop, the flatback and the gun base, then onto the gun, which is where I'll be making a small modification/substitution of the kit parts for something more in scale.. 😈I'll explain that when I get to it 🥸 !

Its been snipped too (ouch ! 😳😖) Snipped bit in the foreground of the below pic



I've surgically removed the overfed gun barrel, and replaced it with a two part brass job from Master models - Italeri's 20mm barrels are always grossly overfed and let down an otherwise good model with their thickness, so, as I had the brass barrel available, I decided to use it. 😎

That's about the only improvement I have in mind for the next one as well, I'll git onto that later today, it rained all weekend, so I'll use some of this morning to get the basic camo colour on the Half track and the Sig 33B that was ahead of it in the paint shop.
