It's a kit of the month type build that costs tons of money by the time you are done... I have a friend building the Delorean from Back to the Future movie...

This one is from Eaglemoss. I think they make the Delorean too. Yes, they are very expensive but this one has a special mission when done involving a charity but I'm still working out the details on so more to come.

I hate to use the same fraise but amazing, a company called De Agostini has a magazine which does such collections, out of my price bracket unfortunately 😬

Wow, this is pretty awesome. It's great to see one of these being built. I play a couple games on my tablet and they have occasional advertisements you can click to watch to get more gems/bucks/etc for free. One of those ads showed this car. I thought it was intriguing but when I saw it was a subscription, I passed.
I know a guy on another Forums who is building the De Agostino Millennium Falcon; I watch that thread over there. That is one huge beast!

That is one huge beast! Thank you for your comments. I guess the main reason I got it was that it was a subscription. I would never be able to afford one at full price. I always wanted to build one but could never decide which one to do until I saw Adam Savage on Tested build one. He weathered it the way I wanted to so the creative juices couldn't be contained anymore and so I started the subscription. That was a year and a half ago and this is how far I've made it. One thing you have to keep in mind is this is not going to happen quickly. If I would of stayed at just 3 issues a month I doubt I would even have the engine completed. I recently bumped up the subscription to 12 issues per month so I can complete it before the next century. To me its worth it because of what I have planned for it when its done.

UPDATE: Progress has slowed a bit but its about to pick up again. The good news is that instead of just 12 issues per month they are letting me do 12 every 2 weeks so this will go pretty fast over the next couple of months. I did get 12 more issues plus the display base. The base is massive so I left it in its box and put it in storage for now. The recent issues mostly involved the dash and the start of the electronics including some lights.
One element in the engine bay was the addition of a Mason drain jar. I saw one being used in one of my reference photos. I was able to a scale mason jar at Etsy. Another item showed up the Haynes manual for the Ecto1. This has been very helpful for reference on the computers located in the back of the vehicle. I have a lot of aftermarket parts coming as well such as carpeting, seat back and more.
That's it for now. Look for more soon.

Great project! I once built a 1/8 scale Jaguar XK-E. It was massive! I can't even imagine how big this Cadillac is! Keep it coming, bro!!
