Howdy, folks!
I guess ya'll have noticed that I've not been very active on the forum, lately. Back in July, we hired a real estate agent to sell the mansion(yeah, right!). We had to start moving out about 47 years worth of clutter before she would list it. From July until about the first week of September, I was busy dragging stuff outta this 2000 square foot house! We got it clear enough to list. To our surprise, twelve days later, we had a signed agreement on the house! Now, I gotta get the rest of the stuff out, plus fix a few things, by the end of November! That doesn't leave anytime for the hobby room, which has been dismantled!
Our new house is being manufactured in Alabama. After that, it will be installed about twelve miles from where we are now, on a nice big lot. This all may take up to 6 months! We'll hafta light somewhere in the interim, and hopefully I can at least get a computer up and running so I can aggravate yuze guys some more!
Keep building those great models and figures, guys! I'll be watching, at least on my phone, anyway! LOL

I hope all works out well for your construction and move,it could be stressful.I sold my house in NJ in 2018 and moved in to an apt in NC.We settled in and looked for a new house,it took them 11 months to build it, things do move slower down here. All together I was off the bench for almost two years with my stuff in storage.
You will be chomping to get get back at it

Moving is never any fun Bucky. You'll be back up and running in no time. You may go thru DT's like I did over the last winter. It was brutal, but had to be done. Yep, we'll keep "sniffin paint and gluin our fingers together" while you are in transit.
And ya, I second Jed's question; Man cave/model bunker included??

Last I heard was a freestanding man cave is in Bucky's future... No more "in house" hobby room. I'll have a 12 foot wide by 20 foot long backyard building to set up as a hobby workshop. Gonna take some time to get it like I want it.

I can certainly understand your situation Bucky. I'm just getting to the point of being over the hump myself. It takes a good while.
You'll be back up and building. I hope all goes well with the move and the house build.
Your man cave sounds fantastic.

Only a few days left in this abode. The two backyard sheds were moved yesterday. They traveled 12 miles to their new homesite. The 12ft by 20ft will be set up as my Hobby Shack. The other shed will be expanded to 10ft by 20ft, and will serve as a tool shed.

Well, the latest word is, the deal we had working for selling the house fell through. Those folks decided about four hours before closing that they wanted us to take another $5000 cut from our original asking price so they could "make repairs". We didn't go for that, so they backed out of the deal. Meanwhile, our new manufactured home has been delivered to the dealership lot. We went over and checked it out. Everything is just as we ordered it! Beautiful!! Now, this house is back on the market. I did a little more freshening things up, so it looks better than it did. Hopefully, somebody will offer us a proper price.

Well....we finally closed the deal on selling the house. Now, comes the fun part of coordinating everything to get the new house to where we can move into it. What we need most of all is dry weather!
