LOL! Every time I see that, I can only imagine a guy joining our Forums with the real name of "Ed Zachary". Then I can see him answering "What?" every time someone posts like this. Makes me laugh! LOL!!!

That's the idea Duke, to have some fun. That's why most of us scale model.

So it's real. But there's a reason. Each time I was looking for a part for the M51, I'd find something that I wanted to use on the M50, and then I'd get sidetracked, then I'd have to organize parts, and then I pulled what was going to be the M50 out and check my previous work and realize I needed to do something else, and then, well, I pulled out an old (really old) MP Models M50 kit to see what was still in it, and I'll be dipped if the hull wasn't still there, and the hulls in those old kits are really pretty good, so (taking a breath) before I knew it, I had it together, and then I built up a set of Academy bogies, and gee whiz, there was a set of Tasca suspension bits in a box that still had drive sprockets and idlers hiding on the other shelf, and gee, there's the final drive butt'y I needed for the old Dragon M4A4 that was originally going to be an M50, and (pause) before I woke up I had this: IMG_4321 by Russel Baer, on Flickr So now, as I dig through the sever or eight boxes of Sherman stuff and I see something that I need for the M51, or the (now two) M50 (s), I can actually stick it/them on and keep going. Honestly, I was stuck on the M51, but after last night (a very late night actually) it's moving along again. Time for a we bit of rum now.

After watching your build, went out in the garage and came back with 3 unfinished Shermans. What is it about Shermans??

I know what my problem is: every time I start one, I find more info about what I'm building, realize I've got something "wrong" on it and shelve it, or the other bugaboo, I just flat out lose interest. Squirrel! And I still have two fingers in the bottle.

That's exactly what happened to me also on the "Sherman Forum". I'm going to just finish them and not count rivets.

This looks like what I go through on a daily basis; at least on this days I'm in the Hobby Room. Now that you're doing these, I can move forward on the M-51 I'm doing in 1/72 scale.
Everything looks great. I think it's time to change the title of this Thread to: "I'm Building Three Shermans"!
