The last three days have provided some needed rest but also some decent progress on the 1/32 Trumpeter F4U-1D.

More boxes and assorted detail as well as some sub assemblies received attention. Hydraulics, oil system, and electrical have begun.

Pictures tell it so much better than I can. Besides I have some electrical diagrams to go over.

All comments, critiques, and criticism are requested.

1/32 Trumpeter F4U-1D

An update. Version 3.0 is slowly coming along. Spar along the firewall is done. Detail for aft side of the firewall is done. Detail for the aft side of the front frame of the cockpit is done. Three electrical boxes are done. Rudder pedals are near done. Foot railings are done. Detail of cockpit walls are started. Still so much to do.

Bruce he is very focused on one kit a time... he has built and torn this one totally apart to start all over again 3 times now to get it as close to the real one as possible, hence the Version 3.0... go back through the whole thread and you will see the improvements each time...

Well after entirely too much time I am moving forward.

The cockpit still needs a small set of levers and the throttle and its connectors. Other than that it is time to move on.

The kit parts are three for the instrument panel and the two fuselage sides.
