Thanks guys, just recieved a small set of micro drills, mainly for the smallest in the pack (.03mm) this should do for the wire part of the hinges, i think i'll give up on the Revell road train trailer, just got out bid again on one and i went mad and bid £85, now another's up for auction, just too expensive for me (as i want 3) so i think i'll go for the "Auslowe" dolly's and use readily avalable trailer kits, 3 x 40ft reefers or dumpsters, pity revell dont reissue the train kit,!!

Got going again on this truck, finally got all the doors hinged and working, i used 10amp fuse wire as it was just the right size to fit through the brass guard rails i used as the "loop" part of the hinge, it's pretty stiff concidering it's size, i decided to make loops in it rather than just hooks, thought it will be stronger like that, it dam fiddley makeing them tho, and threading them through the brass eyes and then through small holes drilled in the doors (0.3mm or 1/32nd drill bits) once its threaded through and the door shuts ok, i just bent the ends down and a dab of cyno, started beefing out the sleeper doors and i think i'll probably use some of the coffee cap alloy to make the inside trim, but for now thats all i can do, they need painting before i can continue, last pic is the "smd" lights in the sleeper, once it's sprayed i can fit a pair of red markers to the rear, trim off the doors, and start makeing the bed and verious stuff inside inc a tv

Thanks Dogfish, i'm still "at it" after getting the paint on i decided to alter the drive train to "tri axle" (forward planning in action) after looking on the fotki kits list thing i saw how revel made tri axle kits, basicly its a regular dual axle with parts to add the third axle and also strenghten the chassis, managed to break off a rear axle and in the process of copying it along with all the other suspension parts etc, also wasn't happy with the duff fit of the larger fuel tanks after glueing them together and couldn't fill the gaps as they were chrome i decided to strip the chrome, fill the gaps and sand off the strap detail, i've sprayed them the truck color and will add straps from evergreen strip with bmf on them, i will prob be off air for a few weeks as i gotta start decorating the liveing room and the pc will have to get moved, so till then see you all later, nearly forgot, i got this revel heavy gravel trailer off ebay, had to pay through the nose for it but it's a real tough lookin trailer, just need another two or three now www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160807876263?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160807876263?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
