Cool! Be sure and put it in the finished section. I don't see a finished section.... Does that mean I was first to finish?

Excellent workmanship on the Cougar Sty. It looks fantastic! Yes, I'm still around. I have been able to set up my work bench in the new house. I used to share my old work bench with my PC and related stuff. I now have a fairly large work bench just for model building. That will be a plus. I have gotten back to the Olds. Man, it's been years since I actually worked on anything, at least using the instructions. There are some glowing errors. I gotta look at the instructions a wee bit closer (re: pay attention). I didn't plan for this to be a highly detailed build. I plan to keep it simple as you can see. I have been debating with myself about body color/paint. I'm still leaning toward my original idea. A lot depends on if I can locate the blank decal film I have (I know it's here somewhere...) and if my printer will do a decent job on them. Enough chat, pics:

Sorry to hear to need to repaint Joe. The yellow looks good in the last pics you had posted of the car.
As an aside, all the paint on the engine/frame etc is DupliColor out of the rattle can. I did use Sharpies on some pieces, mostly touch up.
And just a reminder, this is an alcohol car. I could delete one distributor and the computer/electrics. At some point I plan to try to build a replica of a car my former neighbor owned. His was an alcohol car so this one can match up against it.

Thank you gentleman. I'm a bit rusty. I really need to be able to paint. When I painted these pieces it blushed. It was three different days. Lacquer retarder in an airbrush would help I'm sure. It's getting colder out now too. I've wanted to be able to spray year 'round inside. I may have found my answer. While going through the basement in this house I came across this: My plan is to build a wood box to fit inside this space. I'll connect a flame resistant fan to exhaust it out the window. I need to find a dehumidifier which should help. My storage unit has been the garage. I need to move more stuff into the house as I have to make room and set up my wood working tools. The table saw is the key item for this project.

I haven't given up on this, waiting to replace my airbrush which just won't give me the smooth paint job I need for a car anymore... worn out! Once that gets here I will be back on this one...

What AB do you have coming Joe? I have a small collection of them. Look at the bottom of my signature. It's a tropic I'm keen on.
What AB do you have that's worn out? Depends on what it is. I may be interested in it, if only for parts.

It's a spin off China brush and I got mad and threw it out... thinking about a Paasche Talon Gravity Feed Airbrush with three different needles and tips but not sure yet... I have never been able to do fine lines but also want to be able to do car bodies...

The other possibility is the Paasche Vision that Bruce has and likes...
