OB of 9:11 am on the 4th of April and there's a distinct lack of coffee in my bloodstream - nowhere near enough yet to attempt anything to do with hot soldering irons or wiring .. one more ought to do it !

I remember him standing face to face with Bob Hope (another great "Schnozz") comparing noses, and both trying (badly) not to laugh...🤭
Ended up with Jimmy saying "Ah gives up, in de face of a sooperior weapon !" before both of them collapsed in helpless laughter (Friar's club roasting Bob Hope IIRC) 😆

Ok comedy interlude over, back to the serious muddlin'
Things have happened, a bit more track has been laid, because of a lil thunk I had (that's what I mean when I say my best trackplans evolve as I'm building the layout), bit of tweaking and finalising the board in the far corner (the second track from the left has to turn left off the board somewhere in the last 18 inches (width of the board across the end of the room !) I'll run a few wagons round on it manually, before I wire it, just to make sure there's no nasty joints (aka derailment causers 🤬) in the point formations before committing wire to it - hopefully up and running by tonight !

Its all up and running properly, now just gotta do a bit more wiring to git various isolating sections working, after which its Train Playing 🙄 Err... testing time ! 😎 Gotta make sure all my locos and wagons that'll be running on it can do so properly.. 😗🎵🎶🤫😆 Several days of intense playi... err.. testing involved there methinks ! 😎
That's all for tomorrow though, tonight I'm going to have a celebratory ale or two (or three, or four...😈 ) hic ! 🤭
