You don't have to build cars or anything else, you don't care for, here. We all love to model and enjoy others who love the same. Bucky has just about every genera you can imagine, so no excuses, let's get modeling and learn things new and old. We aims to please, here at OSM!! If yer into basket-weaving, I'm sure we can find a place for that, too! As for Ski's glue marks....that's why they make them little cans and bottles of paint!!!!!!!!!  |

I started at Finescale Modeler & their auto site as well, moved to the Lem where I met Mark, when that started the death rattle I was invited to another site where I met Dicky who was kind enough to invite me to his new site as a moderator and then Admin... the rest led us here to revive this awesome place so we could all start afresh with a peaceful, fun atmosphere!!! Thanks Bucky for allowing us to grab the brooms and dusters and remodel the walls to make room so all genres could become a vital part of this forum!!! Let's have some fun and sniff paint, glue plastic and enjoy the fellowship!!!

I started out on the Fine Scale site until I had some questions about the M7 Priest I was building. I knew there was a member by the name of Shermanfreak that was the person to talk to but hadn't been around for a while. I asked how to get a hold of him then got an invite to join the LEM. I was there til the lights went out ( a good 10-11 years) and looked around at some sites recomended by some of the fellow LEMurs and decided on the Worx. That was home for a year til it went under and got an invite to here. So now you're stuck with me  ! |

I started on Finescale.com, too, and befriended Robert (Shermanfreak). When he departed Finescale, he invited me to be a moderator on LEM, which I enjoyed from it's start to ending. I was a member of some other departed sites: Worx, Armor.SE, Me.K, and Swanny's. I still am a member of Starship Modeller's, Armorama, Modeller's Alliance, and Finescale. I just recently became a member of Mogglin' Matters and yours truly. My model building has been practically nil for the past number of years, so I hope to get my mojo revved up again.  |

I know I posted all the way back on the first page of this thread. But since then well, I don't go to SA or Model cars anymore. It's getting to PC and mainstream now and they both have lost their pizazz. So This is the only Forum I belong to now. I cant belong to a lot cause posting the same crap up on multiple sites in my eyes, Kills the mood for me

I have in the past, and soon realized I was getting redundant replies from the same people! I rarely frequent forums other than the two I just joined. |

All valid points my friends!!! Glad this is fast becoming the home of choice for many of us!!! Some really talented fellows here and great interaction with new friends!!! I like that we don't have all the negative garbage going on like so many of the sites out there... instant turnoff for me and kills your mojo super fast!!! Being around you guys makes me want to build and try all the cool new stuff I learn here!!! |
