I got this VW ragtop in another trade: This next one came from a trip to the local Goodwill store: Amazingly, the only thing missing is the plastic wrap from the outside of the box! Kit parts are still bagged inside. I'd call it a right bargain! The next thing I couldn't help myself from buying: Dual Action. Brand new. Cheap price. Thought I'd give it a try. Several builders on other sites have said they work pretty good.

The next thing I couldn't help myself from buying: Dual Action. Brand new. Cheap price. Thought I'd give it a try. Several builders on other sites have said they work pretty good. From what I can see this is a Procon isn't it? I'm deciding between two of their airbrushes now. I don't know if I want the .2 or .3 needle/nozzle. They don't have the pistol trigger that yours does. They have the standard airbrush trigger. I learned how to use an airbrush in the '70s and that is the style of painting I plan to focus on. I spray lacquer and I'm not sure the .2 would spray it without adding a lot of thinner. And to add to the topic, these arrived yesterday from a trade with a member on another forum. Miss Deal is sealed, Superbird is unstarted (yes, the box is rough) and the Satellite was started (nicely btw). Engine halves glued and frame/suspension painted.

That airbrush is a K-MOON brand. I had never heard of it before. I have several off brand airbrushes that are probably knock offs from the name brand stuff. This one came from China.
Those are some nice kits. I built a Miss Deal years ago. Pretty cool kit, as I remember.

Please let me know how well it works for you Bucky. I've never heard of them. With the reflection I thought it said Procon. I know quite a few MCM forum members use a Procon in this style.
I don't know if I'll build the Miss Deal. I've heard it's a great source for extra parts.
