My first activity for the new year on this thread consists of doing some tradin' around. First up is a 1964 Plymouth Belvedere: I also got the following project in a trade on another forum. When I opened the mailing box, this is what I saw: And, this is what was inside the Viper box: This is a kitbash project, using a Lindberg Little Red Wagon (Dodge A-100) and an AMT Dodge Viper kit. The V-10 Viper engine is to be mounted in the bed, and the Viper interior is to be incorporated into the A-100 cab. I'll start a thread in the proper section for this build. Over at the other place, there is a thread called "Dust Collector Trade Projects", where members post stalled projects that they are not going to finish, and another member can trade for that project with the stipulation that the projects are completed by the new owner. Wish me luck on this one!! I already have one helper on board:

A couple days ago we had our IPMS chapter meeting. I got this in the raffle: Now since I also have the Renwal USS Springfield, I can build both of these. Before that however, a friend sold this to me; using up the last of my Christmas money: That is a white one-foot-long ruler on the top of that box. yes, it is that big. The fuselage seen below is made from fiberglass, as is the wings and tail surfaces. All other parts are injection plastic. The ruler is still there to show size: Later I also decided to test-fit the wings to see how big this monstrosity is. The tail feathers didn't fit, but I was able to at least balance the vertical stabilizer: Yeah, that puppy will have to be all done at Hobby Day.... That's it for now. I have four Brookhurst gift cards; prizes from my AMPS meetings so I may have some more to show after the Spruefest show. Stay tuned.

Yes it is! At least as big; if not bigger, than the Tu-160 I plan on starting this year.

That Antonov surely is a beast, I'm sure I watched a program wher a rescued steam train was put inside one of them to be flown somewhere to be restored 🤔

Thanks guys! John, I appreciate your comments; yes, this is a big one indeed.
Certainly bigger than a 1/72 tank! LoL True. I could fit five 1/72 scale T-72's or two SCUD missile trucks inside. Mark you are going to have to add on a couple feet to your house to fit the big guy!!! No, I can't. LOL!! I live in a two story condo, second floor. I'll just have to re-arrange my air traffic on the ceiling and hang this from a joist. That Antonov surely is a beast, I'm sure I watched a program wher a rescued steam train was put inside one of them to be flown somewhere to be restored 🤔 That doesn't surprise me. I took one of my most recent eight-wheeled trucks and placed it next to that fuselage and saw that it would fit at least two of them, plus have room for another small vehicle. I am looking forward to having it hanging on my ceiling.... not to mention sitting on a contest table!

My Only concern Joe is the old saying,,, You get what you paid for. I only paid 27.99 For it. Well Amazon did I should say. I won two Amazon gift cards at work. So I'm not out a dime. The majority of the reviews were all good so I guess we will see.

What size needle does it have? It comes with a .2mm,, .3mm,, and a .5mm. It has everything I need, but possibly the proper connection to my pump. Urghh. Not a big deal,, just a pain.

Actually after inspecting my pump it would appear that I am good to go. Had the right connection. Now to get to a point in a build where paint is needed.
