I like! I was all set to get a start on the 1/35 Tamiya kit, but obviously got diverted.... Here's a question for those of you in the know regarding the Challenger: I was grabby at the last show I went to, and bought the Tamiya Challenger2 desertized, a very nice kit, and a set of Friuls for same. Upon looking at the kit, I found a very nice set of late-style Tamiya glueable tracks, while the Tamiya Challenger 1 kit I grabbed a few months ago has the old melty-pin stuff. Any chance the later tracks were ever used on the Challenger 1 or do I need to maybe pick up some "correct" tracks for the -1? Sorry for the hi-jack, but I thought "this is the place to ask", and I plan on unashamedly copying this build.

Thanks, I wish I could answer this one but I've looked in the few books I have and they don't help. Knowing the British however I would think they carried on using them if they were suitable or unless they could sell on what stock remained,my knowledge is that good I managed to put a set of tracks on in reverse!!!! 😬

Thanks Joe and Bruce, as I say a few little things to do which probably won't alter its appearance too much gut if you know you know so it has to be done, thanks again
